Fusionist's long-awaited soft launch begins tomorrow, December 11 at 8:00 UTC, bringing the sci-fi web3 strategy game into a persistent, live phase. According to the team, this marks the point where player progress will finally stick. Any Mechs you build, Cores you collect, or ranks and resources you earn from here on will remain with you permanently. There are no more planned wipes moving forward.

Along with permanent progression, the launch also enables several key systems. Onchain trading, NFT staking, and top-ups will go live. Game1: Colonize and Game2: Conquer both open on the same day, and the Findex platform also launches, tying everything together through a live, game-connected market.

Fusionist Soft Launch Locks In Progress Starting Tomorrow

From December 11, Fusionist players can expect their in-game activity to start counting for good. Based on official info, this soft launch brings the game into its non-wipe phase. From now on, progress will carry forward into future updates and the full release.

Game1 will be accessible in-browser, but you'll need a Planet NFT to play. Game2 can be launched through Steam or the Fusionist launcher. Both titles will go live together, letting players move between resource-building and tactical combat all in one ecosystem.

One Linked Economy for Two Different Games

Fusionist's ecosystem connects its 2 main modules through a unified economic system. In Game1: Colonize, you manage a planet, mine for resources, refine them, and build Mechs. These Mechs can then be used directly in Game2: Conquer, where the focus shifts to turn-based battles.

In Colonize, you'll work with raw materials like titanium and helium, setting up power plants and factories to process them. The better your production setup, the more efficiently you can forge Mechs and supply your needs in battle.

Conquer allows you to form a squad of 5 Mechs and take part in PvE and PvP battles. According to the docs, you'll be able to equip your Mechs with elemental skills (Frozen, Electric, or Burn) to trigger special effects during combat. What you build in one game can directly improve your performance in the other.

Findex Launches on the Same Day

Findex, Fusionist's onchain trading system, will also launch tomorrow. This platform combines game data with blockchain trading, giving you the ability to speculate on faction coin prices that are influenced by both player activity and market behavior.

When you join the game, you're assigned to 1 of 3 factions: Order, Chaos, or Void. The performance of your faction (based on PvP wins, player numbers, and other in-game stats) helps determine the value of its coin.

To access the platform, you'll need to convert ACE into FAME (1 ACE = 10 FAME). FAME is the trading token used across Findex. You can open long or short positions, provide liquidity, and stake FAME for rewards. A Wipe Test phase is in place, where you can redeem FAME back into ACE, limited to the original deposit amount.

Advanced features like stop-loss, take-profit, and limit orders are available if you're using the Findex Wallet and are part of the whitelist. This smart wallet allows for smoother trades, self-custody, and built-in trading tools.

Alpha Prestige and Planet NFTs

Fusionist revolves around 2 main types of NFTs: Alpha Prestige and Planet NFTs. Alpha Prestige NFTs (APs) are a premium series with only 500 minted. These are held by a small number of players and offer exclusive access to features across the game. They can also be staked for daily rewards.

Planet NFTs are more accessible and required to enter Game1: Colonize. These ERC-721 tokens represent individual planets, each with their own resource types. According to the team, owning a Planet NFT allows you to mine, produce, refine materials, and start your mech-building journey.

Listings on the Tesseract marketplace currently show Planet NFTs priced from around 30.6 ACE.

Game2 Focuses on Tactical Combat and Team Strategy

In Game2, players form teams of 5 Mechs and take part in battles that reward skill, planning, and positioning. Each Mech falls into a specific class (Striker, Keystone, Buster, Bullseye, or Apostle) and can be customized using different Cores and elemental traits.

Combat is turn-based, and the flow of each fight can change depending on the Mechs you choose and how you position them. Combining elemental skills like Burn and Electric can cause extra damage or freeze enemies in place. PvP seasons last 2 weeks, and players earn stars for every win. Rankings reset after each season, with rewards tied to leaderboard performance.

PvE missions run on a military rank system. There are 11 ranks, and you'll climb them by completing missions of increasing difficulty. The higher your rank, the better the rewards, but Mechs lose durability during combat, so you'll need to repair them between missions.

Trading and NFT Staking Launch With the Game

The Trading Post goes live tomorrow along with the rest of the ecosystem. You'll be able to buy and sell Mechs, refined materials, and other in-game assets through onchain transactions. This trading layer links directly with the gameplay loop across both Game1 and Game2.

You'll also get to stake NFTs. Alpha Prestige holders can stake their NFTs to earn AP rewards daily. Mech staking is also available, though withdrawals will be limited at first. According to the team, full withdrawal functionality will open in stages after launch.

Daily Missions Continue Until Launch

Leading up to the launch, Fusionist has been running a series of Daily Missions through its official Discord. These missions highlight different parts of the game and give players a chance to earn early rewards.

Missions so far have included:

  • Dec 6: UI upgrades in Game1 (vote for your favorite upgrades)
  • Dec 7: Launch date and soft launch plans (share your strategy)
  • Dec 9: Findex feature overview (choose your Findex role)

Each mission introduces new mechanics, asks players to engage with the community, and helps prepare them for what's coming.

What Is Fusionist?

Fusionist is a sci-fi world set in the distant future, where Earth has become uninhabitable and humanity survives by uploading consciousness into digital form. These digital minds, called Fusionists, explore space in search of new worlds where human DNA can be restored.

The game is built around 3 main modules:

  • Game1: Colonize – simulation and resource management
  • Game2: Conquer – tactical turn-based battles
  • Unite – a 4X strategy mode still in development

For now, it seems only Colonize and Conquer are launching on December 11. Both are linked through a shared economy and NFT-based gameplay.

How to Join Fusionist at Launch

If you want to get in, you'll need a Planet NFT to access Game1. You can get one on the Tesseract platform. Game2 will be accessible through Steam or the official launcher. Full launch details, game access, and ecosystem info can be found on the official website: https://www.fusionist.io
