As Fractal expands to Polygon, the leading blockchain gaming platform teams up with MetaOps, a Solana-based FPS, to launch a free online tournament. The event began on January 26th and will last for 3 days until January 29th, 2 pm (PT).
Like the first tournament with Cards of Ethernity, the event also offers a $5,000 USDT prize pool to the top 200 players. No NFTs are required, as the event is open to anyone with a Fractal account.
This time, players will be fighting against waves of AI robots, earning cash to upgrade their weapons. Everybody will spawn with a pistol in MetaOps before coming across these AI enemies. The longer they survive, the better their rankings.
If you'd like to participate, head to the MetaOps project page and click "Install" to download the Fractal desktop app. Once done, sign in with your Fractal Wallet and install MetaOps through the launcher. According to Fractal, players will have unlimited attempts to beat their personal records. All final rankings on the leaderboard will be based on their highest scores.
Ultimately, the top 200 players in this tournament will get to share a $5,000 prize pool as per the breakdown below:
Created by Open Portal Studios, MetaOps is a play-and-earn, first-person shooter game on Solana. It aims to create a metaverse for casual and competitive FPS players by rewarding them with in-game coins for every kill made in PvE or PvP. These can be used to buy loot boxes, which may contain in-game assets or SPL tokens that can be used to mint MetaOps NFTs.
