Predict 2.0 is live with Matchday scheduling and a fixed campaign window

According to the SDF Predict rules page, Predict 2.0’s live phase begins on January 19, 2026 at 12:00 UTC, with the campaign window running until January 30, 2026 at 12:00 UTC. Predictions can be placed up until each match begins, after which picks are locked for that game.

How scoring works in SDF Predict

Predict 2.0 keeps the same baseline scoring for match outcomes, while allowing players to add points through “Match Specials”:

  • Correct Result: +1 point
  • Correct Score: +3 points
  • Match Specials: +2 points for selecting the correct side of a special, and +4 points for getting the special fully correct (depending on the special format)

The rules also note that Match Specials are surfaced via a dedicated carousel area in the product UI and are similarly locked once a match starts.

Prizepool and reward tiers

Predict 2.0 launches with a 250,000 TP prizepool and a ranked payout structure built around packs and tiered placement. The headline tiers are positioned around Rank 1, the top 10, top 100, top 250, and top 500, with additional perks called out for certain rank bands (such as merchandise eligibility for the highest ranks).

What changed in Predict 2.0

Football.Fun’s update positioning centers on four player-facing improvements:

  • A revamped UI and site update
  • New SDF Specials (expanded match special formats)
  • New or expanded objectives designed to increase scoring paths
  • An improved leaderboard experience with live reward tiers, plus social features like adding friends

How to participate

Predict 2.0 is designed around straightforward weekly participation: select match results before kickoff, optionally add Match Specials to increase upside, and accumulate points across the live campaign window. With Matchday-based scoring, the practical edge comes from consistency across fixtures and selectively using specials where you have a strong read, rather than chasing every high-variance pick.
