Gaming ecosystem Uncharted has announced a new tournament, the Community Clash, is coming soon to Fishing Frenzy with $RON and pets as rewards.
What Is Fishing Frenzy?
Fishing Frenzy is a free to play browser-based mobile RPG in which players catch and cook various fish using off-chain rods and NFT rods to climb fishing and cooking leaderboards for on-chain lootbox rewards.
Following a number of testing phases, the cozy game officially launched in April 2025 in the form of the Uncharted Waters campaign on the Ronin network. That first season is now over, with Season 2: New Horizons live since June to provide players with bigger rewards to compete throughout a 10-week period. Join in on the second season and play to earn right now by heading to the game’s official website on your web or mobile browser and logging in using your crypto wallet or via a social sign in option. You can also opt to play as a guest if you’d like to try out the game first before signing up.
As you take part in Season 2, you may want to get ready to take part in the upcoming event for more opportunities to win crypto rewards.
What Is the Community Clash in Fishing Frenzy?
The Community Clash is a 2-week tournament that aims to encourage players to team up into temporary guilds and work together on competing for a prize pool consisting of 10k $RON tokens (around ~$5390 at the price of $0.5390) and exclusive pets.
Players will focus on getting as much Fishing, Cooking, and Collector XP as possible in order to increase their total Community Score and get it high enough to win a share of the prize pool. This means that by simply playing the game, you can contribute to your team’s success. While all 3 types of XP are used to calculate the Community Score, Fishing XP will be getting a 2x multiplier for this competition. You will want to play a significant part in increasing the Community Score for your team, because if your side wins, rewards will be split between team members based on each member’s % score contribution to the total Community Score. The more you contribute to your team, the more tokens you will earn should your team rank high enough to be eligible for prizes.
The top 10 communities will win a share of $RON tokens and pets, with the highest-ranked side getting 2500 $RON plus a Custom Pet for players above an unspecified minimum score. The team that finishes in 2nd will receive 2000 $RON alongside a Sea Spirit Pet for the top 10 players in that crew, while the side that ranks in 3rd place snags 1500 $RON tokens, with the top 10 players from that team also getting a Sea Spirit Pet each. Reward distribution details for the remaining eligible spots have not been revealed at the time of writing. Pets are not NFTs yet, but the team is working on making them become tradable on-chain assets. They are however useful as special collectible companions that drop a random number of fish each day, with drop tables varying from one unique pet to the next.
If you want to become a Community Leader or simply do your best as a member of one team, here is everything you need to know to successfully play and earn in the Community Clash.
How to Play and Earn in Fishing Frenzy's Community Clash
The Community Clash starts on Thursday, July 17 after maintenance, but the registration deadline is Wednesday, July 16 at 2 AM UTC, so make sure to sign up as early as you can if you want to play and earn in Fishing Frenzy’s new team-focused tournament.
Whether you’re looking to join a Community or become a Community Leader, you will want to head to the competition’s official website (which is said to have been fully made using AI by team members with no experience in creating websites).
Once there, you can start looking for teams by pressing the “Browse Communities” or “Join” button to be taken to a dedicated page listing all currently created teams. You can view the members of each community, and join any of them by pressing the “Join Community” button next to the group you’re interested in. This will then prompt you to enter your in-game name and UserID. That being said, you’ll want to log in to the game if you haven’t already to find your unique UserID, which is located in the top left corner of the game screen, next to the level counter. Once you submit these details, you’ve successfully joined a community. You can only join one community at a time, and once you do join, you will be locked to that team for the entire event, so make sure you’re signing up for the team you really want to play with.
If you want to become a Community Leader, click on the blue “Create Community” button in the top right corner of the website to enter your team’s name, a description, and an optional community icon. Once you’ve submitted the details, you will have to wait for the team to approve your registration, which should be successfully completed within 24 hours. When they approve your community, you can then properly join your own team and begin recruiting other players willing to do their best to collaboratively play and earn rewards. The maximum community size is 500 players, and once someone has joined, you do not have the option to remove them.
Once you’ve joined a team or set up your own, the only thing you will still need to do to have your score count for the event is to spend 1 or more $RON tokens in the in-game shop. With that done, you are ready to participate in the Community Clash while also playing to earn NFT chests and Horizon Points for Season 2. Chests are NFT lootboxes and the only way through which players can get rod NFTs of varying rarity, with the on-chain rods providing a potential chance of catching Shiny Fish NFTs. Horizon Points are earned through weekly fishing and cooking leaderboards, as well as through the battle pass and VIP system, with the points potentially set to be used to determine a token airdrop allocation or some other kind of valuable prize. While spending 1 or more $RON is needed to participate in the tournament, spending $RON in Fishing Frenzy also gives you VIP points to level up through the system, unlocking various rewards that include Horizon Points and possibly pets at different VIP levels.
If you like tournaments that reward teamwork instead of being fully solo-focused efforts, then the Community Clash event is one you don’t want to miss out on. Sign up as a member or Community Leader before July 16, 2 AM UTC and get ready to compete for the top 10 spots as a team from July 17 to July 31.
