The Farsite team has announced that they are introducing Market Orders, Missions and a Route Planner on November 28.
This announcement came via the game’s official Twitter account, but more info on these features, except for Missions, was given in the official Discord server of the DeFi MMORTS.
The team states that players will be able to set up both buy and sell orders on the in-game marketplace, with the team stating that “Pilots will be able to create Buy Orders with delivery to be accomplished by other travelers for a rewards in Credits”. This means that someone could request for some Components or Resources to be brought to a Sector or Station, and another player would then fulfill the order by offering the amount asked by the buyer.
On the same day Market Orders go live, the first version of the Route Planner should also launch, making life easier for Pilots as they get directions “to faraway constellations” but also details on the amount of fuel and Credits needed to get to the desired location.
The team has also said that with the updated roadmap, the beta version of the blockchain title is planned to come out early next year, and is set to introduce market upgrades, important mechanics for fighting and more, coupled with the minting and listing of the FAR token.
“As our project strives for transparency and security in these turbulent times, we’re taking additional steps to ensure that the process of listing FAR will bring no inconvenience to our community in such a volatile period in the industry.”
