The team behind blockchain RPG Faraland has published a monthly recap update for September, showing what’s been completed in the past month while revealing what’s currently in progress and what new plans are in store for the Web3 title.
In the official roundup blog post, Faraland looks back at September and notes various new additions and improvements to the game. Among these is the relaunch of the Lady of the Lake, an equipment gacha system. There’s also the new staking mechanism, that is, the Staking V3 program, introducing new rewards to different lock periods. They’ve also refactored the code of version 0.3.0 of the game, paving the way for new features while improving system performance. The month also marked the release of the Black Market for those looking to get rare items, and a non-fee wallet was also implemented in order to help players have a better experience by covering their transaction fees.
The Faraland team is currently working releasing 7 new skill trees to provide even more customization depth and variety to characters. According to the announcement, they’re also working on 4 new crafting sets, which are equipment sets with “special features” that will “open up many new opportunities for players to create powerful equipment.” The ability to trade Soul Stones with other players in-game is also currently in the works.
The near future development plan seems to include the release of another new 7 skill trees for an even more diverse gameplay experience. Next to that, the developers intend to improve the crafting process “to ensure success in creating equipment and items.” Last but not least, they also plan on adding in a Skill Book transfer feature. This feature will actually make it possible for players to transfer skills from one character to another, creating “flexibility and choice for players when participating in the game.”
