Faraland has officially announced the relaunch of the Lady of the Lake feature, bringing it back with new updates to provide a better experience.
The Lady of the Lake is inspired by ancient European myth and in Faraland represents an equipment gacha system designed to solve the problem of having too many unused items by bringing them to the goddess of a holy lake for a chance at redeeming rarer items.
By heading to the relevant section on the game’s website, players can add items that are tradable, after which they can see a range of different items they have a chance of getting. The rarer the item, the lower the chance of earning it. There are items specifically designed for the Lady of the Lake, but it’s also possible to find excess items from previous Gacha Pools too.
The relaunch of the Lady of the Lake comes with a host of new updates. One of these changes includes no longer considering the tier of the items that the player gives. Another changed noted in the official blog post is that you have a 70% chance of getting an item of the same rarity. With Epic items, you’ll have a 5% chance of getting rarer items, while other classes have a 10% chance. It’s also specifically noted that Epic items give the player a 2% to get a Mythical, while Rare items provide a 0.5% opportunity to being awarded with Legendary items.
Previously, using this system would cost 20 $FARA + 20 Soul Stones, regardless of which item you gave. From September 26th, the fee is getting updated to new prices for when you’re trading in Common, Uncommon, or Rare items, while the fee will remain the same for Epic, Legendary, and Mythical items. The new fee for Common and Uncommon items is 4 $FARA + 4 Soul Stones, while for Rare items it is 8 $FARA + 8 Soul Stones.
