Web3 card game Fantasy Top is back with Season 2 of Clout, adding new features and improvements to make this season more rewarding and fairer than the last.

What’s New in Fantasy Top Clout Season 2?

Clout Season 2 introduces new Heroes to Fantasy Top alongside new Daily Quests, Referral Boosts, Hero Swap, an improved rewards system, and an overhaul of Hero Profiles.

A total of 15 new Heroes have been added to this social content-focused title. These crypto degens from Twitter/X include:

  • katexbt.hl (@KATEXBT)
  • naiive (@NAIIVEMEME)
  • CRG (@MACROCRG)
  • ultra (@0X_ULTRA)
  • StarPlatinum (@STARPLATINUMSOL)
  • Loki (@LOKITHEBIRD)
  • @0XNAIRWOLF (whose profile does not seem possible to find, nor is there a link to it in the official thread)
  • Dip Wheeler (@DIPWHEELER)
  • Simon (@SJDEDIC)
  • Jeff Park (@DGT10011)
  • Mosi (@VANNACHARMER)
  • Leo the Horseman (@LEOTHEHORSEMAN)
  • Altcoin Sherpa (@ALTCOINSHERPA)
  • rektober (@REKTOBER)
  • fejau (@FEJAU_INC)

All star ratings have been re-calculated as a result of these new additions.

New Daily Quests and a Referral Boost have been included to give participants more ways to earn Clout while making it faster to do so. This means that you can now claim Clout every 24 hours by posting once per day while inviting friends to receive a boost of up to 33% on daily Clout earnings. The boost depends on how much Clout your invited referral ends up earning.

Hero Swap is a new feature where you can now swap out old Heroes and get ones of similar rank, with the hopes of getting lucky at landing an up to a 100 rank Hero card. From Monday, May 26, expect exclusive Tactics Heroes to be added to Tactics game modes, giving you a chance of finding Heroes like aixbt (@aixbt_agent) and steady teddys (@steadyteddys) to play with.

The rewards system has been improved with the introduction of a new earnings curve and enhanced scoring algorithm in an effort to make it fairer for all participants. This upgraded system is said to be built for “higher meritocracy” and “better game dynamics,” with voted out Heroes able to claim rewards previously earned.

Hero Profiles have been revamped to deliver more in-depth performance insights, making it simpler to track metrics such as top supporters, complete payout history, and X engagement impact.

Next to all these new additions and changes, Season 1 Player Stats are now live, allowing you to get a recap of the highest-earning participants from last season alongside the earnings and highest rank in every league of each player. The leaderboard has of course been reset to make way for this new season, and all payouts from the previous season have been distributed. These payouts include a total of 150 ETH (said to be $400k) given back to creators depending on their seasonal performance. An average of 1500 Fragments and 200k FAN Points have also been distributed per Hero, with rewards distributed based on volume and performance.

For those who competed in tournaments, bonuses of +500 Fragments and +20k FAN Points have been given to Heroes who played in up to 9 tournaments, while those who playing in at least 10 competitions have been rewarded with +1000 Fragments and +100k FAN Points. Further regarding Season 1 payouts, it is said that unclaimed Hero rewards from past distributions are being sent directly to each Hero’s Fantasy wallet, while Hero-sharing payouts of under $5 “that were too small to send last season” have been converted into Fragments and likely delivered to everyone eligible by now.

Anyone who is a newly crowned Hero may now mint their Starter Pack from their profile page. If you want to become a Hero yourself, then read on to find out how you can participate and earn points while time remains.

How to Participate in Fantasy Top Clout Season 2

If you’d like to participate in Clout Season 2 of Fantasy Top, which started on May 23 and ends on June 22, then you can get started by heading to the official website to compete for free to earn Hero Cards, NFT mints, whitelists, and potentially more. You can easily sign up with a Google or X account.

Essentially, instead of collecting sports players like in Sorare, here you collect fantasy cards representing various crypto influencers, and instead of betting on the performance of your favorite footballers, here you build a team of your favorite crypto degens from X instead, and hope their posts end up being the most engaging ones, as that will earn you tournament points for a chance at winning various prizes.

But, if you want to become a tradable Hero card and start receiving payouts in ETH, then you will need to collect Clout points. Clout points are said to reflect “quality, relevance, and clarity,” and can be collected by being active in crypto-related discussions on X. Overall, this means making posts on crypto topics, as well as thoughtful contributions to ongoing discussions in the web3 world. All your content should be original and insightful, focused on providing quality contributions while still being silly and having fun along the way.

The Clout you earn is yours forever, and your goal it to try and be amongst the top 15 Clout earners during the season in order to become a tradable Hero card. According to details on the official Clout page, Heroes get to earn up to $10k monthly in ETH and receive an average X engagement boost of 109%. If you rank in the top 50 Clout earners, you will be added to Tactics game modes instead, which is said to provide an X engagement boost of 97% on average.

So, if you want to become a Hero yourself, then get started with creating content on X now while Clout Season 2 is live until June 22, while also participating in various daily and weekly Fantasy Top tournaments for a chance at earning more rewards.
