NFT card-based game Fantasy Top has announced a host of new updates and events for this week, among which is the release of Heroes Cohort 2 that adds in over 40 popular Twitter/X accounts to the Blast-powered title.
More than 40 new Heroes have been added to the roster for the second Heroes Cohort, featuring the likes of @Pentosh1, angel investor @LilMoonLambo, Sappy Seals NFT founder @wabdoteth, @elliotrades, @CryptoKaleo, @AltcoinPsycho and many more.
As a result of these new additions that the community can now add to their decks, the team has adjusted buyable card packs to now mostly include Heroes from Cohort 2, in order to “preserve the rarity” of Heroes distributed in Cohort 1.
A couple of factors are said to be taken into account when packing Heroes. Of course, one of them is the rarity of the Card; the rarer it is, the lower the chance you have of finding it in a pack. Another factor affecting your chance of finding a certain Card is the performance of a Hero – the better the performance the Hero has, the harder it will be to get them. It’s also mentioned that there is a higher chance of packing a Hero who has a relatively smaller supply than other Cards of the same rank.
The latest version of Hero Score further refines the system thanks to constructive community feedback that has led to the addition of various improvements. Soft launched on May 14th, with plans to fully roll it out these days, the latest enhancements to the system are said to block the impact of follower bots while improving anti-botting technologies, encouraging frequent posters and refining scoring for OG Heroes with a new scoring model.
