F1 Delta Time Sold Two Track Segments for $46.700

F1 Delta Time has auctioned two more track segments for a combined value of 1.299.000 REVV or 46.7 thousand dollars. These track segments belong to the Grand Prix de Monaco 2020 and have the epic rarity. Track-owners will earn a percentage over the revenue generated from the use of their track segments.

Track NFTs will earn between 5 and 25 percent of the gameplay fees. However, each track is segmented into multiple track segments. In addition these track segments come in multiple rarities: Apex being the most rare, followed by epic, rare and common. The two new track segments are of the epic rarity, segments of this rarity earn a smaller revenue share over the revenue acquired from races.

Players and investors see lots of potential in the value these track segments provide to the F1 Delta Time ecosystem. A couple of weeks ago the 1A segment for the Monaca track, with an unique Apex rarity, sold for 9 million REVV. That equaled 223 thousand dollars at the time of the auction.

Just like these auctions use REVV tokens, the entire game of F1 Delta Time uses that token. Players need to use REVV to join competitions and maintain their car parts. In addition REVV is also the currency that players earn by competing, placing the utility token at the center of F1 Delta Time.

What is F1 Delta Time?

In the officially licensed game F1 Delta Time players can collect virtual cars, drivers and car parts. Players can collect, trade, use or sell these parts individually as unique non-fungible tokens. Some of the very rare vehicles have sold for 16 thousand dollars through an auction. Animoca Brands already made thousands of dollars through a variety of auctions.

Competitive racing will be a core element of F1 Delta Time. Each car has characteristics unique to the vehicle. Acceleration, grip, top speed, and luck are the elements that will influence the car’s performance.

The new Grand Prix Mode presents the players with tracks from the official Formula 1 season. Players go head-to-head in qualifying sessions, before going into the final race. Similar to the Time Trial, car and driver compositions are key. The right track requires the right composition, as well as the most suitable tires for the current weather.

During qualifying, the player is in direct control of their car and driver. The player needs to control the speed of their car, decelerating as the car enters a corner, and then accelerating back out. Timing and control result in better maintained speed, and therefore better times.
