The developers of medieval RPG Eldarune have announced the start of the ELDA Tournament Season.
The ELDA Tournament Season is a series of competitive events through which players will get to battle it out for various rewards. Beginning the season is the World of Elymnias (WoE) Open Beta Tournament 1, which kicked off on November 19th at 6 PM UTC and will end on December 3rd at 6 PM UTC. Information on future tournaments part of the season does not seem to be available at the time of writing, but according to the latest announcement, the team has “many more tournaments” in store for its community.
This first mobile tournament of the Android idle game features a token-based prize pool consisting of 255k $ELDA that is set to be distributed to the top 10 players. The winner of the tournament will be awarded with 100k tokens, while 2nd place gets 50k and 3rd place will receive 25k $ELDA tokens. Players ranked in 4th and 5th will get 15k tokens each, while the remaining spots, from 6th to 10th, will be awarded with 10k tokens each. Players will also be awarded with an exclusive Discord role for participation, while the top 3 will also get other roles in the game’s official Discord server.
These rewards will be distributed without vesting a week after the end of the tournament. Once this competition is over, the developers tease there will be more regular tournaments with “exclusive reward pools” to participate in.
According to the announcement, players will have to claim a free Alec NFT and become a verified owner by receiving a role in the Discord server. In the same server, players can find a link to download the game, and in order to actually play, you’ll need to own 4 different champions in order to enjoy the game’s Dungeon and PvP Arena modes. These champions can be bought as part of a starter pack.
When you jump into the game, you will have 10 PvP Arena tickets that refill every day, meaning that you can play up to 10 matches a day. Entering a PvP game gives you 1 point regardless of the outcome, while winning as the attacking team gives you 10 points, while winning as the defense is awarded with 5 points. If you lose either as an attacker or defender, you will be either way deducted -5 points.
