Earn Rewards in Paradise Tycoon’s Safe Harbor Event

Play to earn multiplayer life sim Paradise Tycoon has kicked off the Safe Harbor event, giving players an opportunity to earn various rewards by participating until March 23rd.

What Is Paradise Tycoon’s Safe Harbor Event?

Safe Harbor is a new event where the goal is to build and upgrade a new harbor in order to climb to the top of the leaderboard for a chance at earning prizes. The captain needs a new and expanded harbor at Port Ohana for the journey to Makubo Jungle, and it’s up to you to help out in upgrading this harbor.

This event started on March 8th and will end on March 23rd, 11:59 PM UTC. To participate, you need to contribute items to the harbor. The items that you have to contribute change every day to keep things varied. Contributing required items earns you points to climb the leaderboard. The more valuable items you manage to contribute, the more points you get to earn.

What Rewards Can You Earn in Paradise Tycoon’s Safe Harbor Event?

The top 100 players on the leaderboard with the highest number of points collected during the Safe Harbor event have a chance of earning a variety of rewards, including MOANI tokens and various items, such as these 3 rare goodies: The Infernal Cleave: First Fragment, Rare Genesis Island, and an Ancient Key. The grand prize winner gets 100k MOANI tokens and one of each previously mentioned item. Exact token reward distribution per rank does not seem to be stated at the time of writing.

The Infernal Cleave is the First Fragment crafting material of Mythical rarity for a powerful Mythical Axe. It’s only one piece of the ingredient for the Mythical Axe, so in order to complete the item, you will need to try and get future fragments related to it. Other First Fragments cannot be combined with The Infernal Cleave.

The Rare Genesis Island is a product type of item that grants you island ownership. While Genesis Islands aren’t currently available, getting this item will make you ready to receive and own a Rare Genesis Island in the future. This island will give you more building space, more resources to collect, a bigger home and farm to work with; great visuals in the form of “varied elevation & beautiful details”, and access to the Paradise Pass for an opportunity to complete daily MOANI tasks.

Last but not least is the Ancient Key, a product type of item that opens up a magic portal. This is an NFT item of Epic rarity, and using it to open a magic portal could take you to a mysterious location with valuable treasure waiting for you to loot.

The cozy web3 game is currently live in open beta, but might be heading for an official release soon with the World Creation Event. According to a roadmap published last month, the World Creation Event is about airdropping Genesis Island NFTs and turning MOANI into an on-chain currency while launching a Harvest Festival event to play and earn rewards in. This means that the TGE for MOANI is happening soon. While the roadmap listed the World Creation Event as part of Q1 2025, it looks like it might actually be delayed to Q2. Other milestones mentioned in the roadmap include introducing create to earn UGC monetization, new events and competitions, the addition of crew members to mint as AI companions, and more.

This month, Paradise Tycoon chose Avalanche for the $MOANI token launch, revealing that the TGE will take place at some point in April this year.
