3D LBS (Location-Based Service) web3 game L3E7 is now playable for a limited time in the form of the Mobile Vanguard Test, during which eligible participants have an opportunity to earn various rewards.
The Mobile Vanguard Test is a new closed wipe playtest for L3E7 that gives the web3 gaming community another chance to try out this anime-themed cyberpunk metaverse while potentially earning rewards along the way.
The core gameplay players can enjoy and test out is referred to as the City Retake Operation. This mode has you navigate a Google-based map to engage in action-packed battles for one-time rewards. These battles take place in a 3D cyberpunk version of the real world and have you fight in third-person gameplay as one of various anime characters. Winning battles gives you a small chance of earning Stardust, a reward that can be exchanged for the upcoming $L3E7 token. Stardust is not wiped, so this is one of the goodies you’ll want to try and earn as much as you can from this beta test session. There is a max net deposit of 4000 Stardust during this playtest. Players can deposit and withdraw Stardust on a dedicated page of the game’s official website.
According to the official Medium guide, the team has allocated 3% of $L3E7 tokens to unlocked Stardust for all game playtests, making this another chance to secure more tokens through gameplay. A TGE date for $L3E7 has not been given at the time of writing. Staking NFTs can boost your Stardust earnings, with staking bonuses varying based on the NFT staked. There are 4 different NFTs players can stake: Guardians (10% bonus), Worlds (100% bonus), Star Alliance Vanguard (80% bonus), and Supreme Council (200% bonus).
Next to accumulating Stardust for token rewards, players can also win NFT prizes. The NFTs are set to be distributed to the top 20 players on the final leaderboard. The ladder ranks players based on the highest damage dealt in a single battle. These are the rewards players can earn depending on their final ranking position:
Participants can get a head start by buying one of 4 limited-time bundles at a discounted price from the game’s official website. These include the Starter Bundle ($1.99), Explorer Bundle ($19.99), Champion Bundle ($49.99), and Legendary Bundle ($99.99). These are one-time purchases, so it’s not possible for one player to buy multiple bundles of the same type. Purchases are made using $MNT if buying through Mantle or using $ETH if making the payment on the Arbitrum network.
As this is a closed wipe test, all data and player progress will be reset once the playtest is over. You will not lose your earned Stardust though, while all purchases that are done throughout this test are set to be “fully refunded to your original wallet address.”
Check out the official documentation to learn more about this game’s core gameplay features and game mechanics. Here’s how you can participate while there’s still time.
If you want to participate in L3E7’s Mobile Vanguard Test, which started on March 24th at 12 PM UTC+8 and will end on April 3rd at 12 PM UTC+8, you will need to have an access code. This access code lets you claim a game account to properly participate. All Worlds and Guardians NFT holders should have received a code by now, so if you own any of the two assets, you can head to the game test page that’s linked in the Medium announcement and connect your wallet to check your code.
If you don’t own any of the eligible NFTs, then buying one now won’t give you an access code, as the NFT holder snapshot has already been taken before testing began. Anyone who doesn’t own the right NFT might be able to snag an access code through one of the game’s partnered communities.
For this playtest, L3E7 is available on Windows, Mac, and Android devices. The download links can be found on the previously mentioned game test page. It contains a direct download for Android devices, while Windows and Mac users can download and install the blockchain game on HyperPlay, thanks to a partnership with the web3 native game store.
Earlier this year, the web3 gaming community was able to jump into the L3E7 Closed Beta, which featured 21 days of rewards and exclusive NFT perks to enjoy.
