Earn NXPC in MapleStory Universe Alphabet Fusion Event

Blockchain gaming ecosystem MapleStory Universe has officially kicked off the Alphabet Fusion event, giving NFT holders an opportunity to earn an airdrop allocation of NXPC tokens that can be claimed when TGE takes place.

What Is the MapleStory Universe Alphabet Fusion Event?

The Alphabet Fusion event is a burn to airdrop period in which users can earn NXPC by contributing Alphabet/Number/Name Length NFTs to a Collection Board. The more you contribute to completing the Collection Board, the bigger your share of NXPC rewards are likely to be.

Each Make Special Name NFT contributed to the board is said to be worth 1 NXPC. In fact, all alphabet, numeric, and length based NFTs said to be valued at 1 NXPC each. If the community successfully works together to fill out all 39 slots of the Collection Board, all participants will then be automatically qualified to earn airdrop rewards. If you submit an NFT and end up changing your mind, then you are free to withdraw your asset from the board, but only before all the board slots are completely filled.

The Collection Board consists of 39 different slots anyone with the right NFT(s) can choose to fill. These slots include 26 Alphabet NFT slots (A-Z), 10 Number NFT slots (0-9), and 3 Name Length NFT slots (length 4, 5, 6). You can see the status of each slot in real time, including info on every slot’s participant and their contribution, so you can easily find an empty slot to contribute to.

If you want to participate to earn an NXPC airdrop, then here’s how you can do so, regardless of whether you’re new to MapleStory Universe or not.

How to Participate in MapleStory Universe Alphabet Fusion Event

The Alphabet Fusion event runs from March 17th, 05:00 UTC+0, to around March 24th, 04:59 UTC+0. To participate, you need to own at least one Alphabet/Number/Name Length NFT, as you need to submit one of these assets to the Collection Board. There are no limits to submissions though, so you are free to submit multiple NFTs if you’d like. If you don’t have any, you can find them through OpenSea on the Avalanche network for the floor price of 0.128 $AVAX at the time of writing. You should probably check which slots might be empty before making a purchase however. Here’s how!

Head on over to the official Make Special Name page and connect your MetaMask wallet. You can only use MetaMask for this event. Once connected, go to the “Alphabet Fusion” section to see the Collection Board. From here, you can see all empty and filled slots, and if you already have the right NFT(s), you can then double click on an empty slot to submit your assets. You can choose the quantity you’d like to submit before confirming your contribution. When the Collection Board is completed, all submitted NFTs are burned, and a completion notification will pop up to allow you to see your share of NXPC rewards. You can then choose to participate in a new round of filling the Collection Board if you’d like to. Rewards from this event will be claimable at TGE. As of writing, there does not seem to be an official launch date for the NXPC TGE.
