Web3 gaming platform Moonveil has announced the start of Season 2, giving blockchain gamers numerous ways to earn the $MORE ecosystem token that went live this year on June 27.
What’s New in Moonveil Season 2?
Season 2: Explore the MORE Universe is the first season post-TGE that gives players a new period to earn the $MORE token in while introducing more new games to play and earn in, an expanded $MORE reward pool, a brand new theme, upgraded system, more reward boosts, and new features such as staking.
Throughout this season, you can enjoy games such as Starry Sort, Bushwhack, Flaming Pets, and more new games that will launch throughout this event.
Starry Host is a casual mobile game in which you pour and match colors into potions to clear stages. Made by Luma Studio, It’s the first third-party game in this ecosystem that is built on the platform’s own gaming stack. You can download it for free on Android and iOS during the ongoing Initial Alpha Playtest, which started on August 12 and ends on August 27.
Bushwhack is a stealth-based battle royale in which players collect resources and upgrade gear while attempting to be the last one standing in a battlefield that gradually becomes smaller as the danger circles continue to engulf the area. Based on the season trailer, it looks like an alpha test for this game is likely set to take place at some point during this season, so make sure to pre-register on the game’s dedicated page on the official ecosystem website to be ready to participate.
Another game that will soon go live in the form of an alpha playtest will be Flaming Pets, for which there do not seem to be any details available at the time of writing. It doesn’t have its own page on the ecosystem’s website either, so you’ll have to keep an eye on the platform’s official social media channels to find out more about this web3 game.
Next to these games, there are plans to add more casual mini-games to enjoy in the ecosystem’s mini-games hub.
Alongside new games, this season features an expanded $MORE prize pool, attempting to bring more value to players by locking in a 50:1 conversion rate between Moon Beams and $MORE to deliver “tangible value all season long.” It’s not stated how big the prize pool actually is though.
More boosts have also arrived in the form of the Premium Season Pass. Unlocking the Premium Season Pass requires owning a TETRA NFT or certain badges listed in the official Medium post. Whichever criteria you meet will enable you to activate Yield Boosters, and upgrading your pass can significantly increase your token rewards by having the chance of getting an up to x10 Yield Booster.
Coming soon are new features to this season that include staking and rewards store features in order to provide more ways to earn $MORE tokens while further increasing its utility.
Whether you missed out on the first season or are back to play to earn some more, well, $MORE tokens, here are the important details you need to know to get started.
How to Earn $MORE in Moonveil Season 2
Season 2 started on August 21 with no end date, and you can start to play to earn by heading to Moonveil’s official website and logging in using your email, crypto wallet, or social account such as Google, Discord, X, Telegram, Apple, or Facebook.
In this blockchain gaming ecosystem, your goal is to earn its native points called Moon Beams, as this is what you will be converting to $MORE tokens at a 50:1 ratio. You can earn Moon Beams by completing quests, playing various ecosystem games such as AstrArk and casual mini-games while referring friends and participating in lucky draws.
Once you’ve set up your account, you should first start off by heading to the Loyalty Program section, where you can unlock 20 different planets for this season. Each planet allows you to claim rewards such as Moon Beams as a free user, while anyone who has a Premium Season Pass can claim even more goodies. These planets are unlocked by levelling up the Season Pass, be it the free Standard tier or the Premium one. To level up, you need to complete a variety of different tasks, and you can access the dashboard for that by clicking on a planet and then the “Tasks” button. You can also find the same dashboard by opening your profile and heading to the Moon Beams section, or by clicking on the Quest button in the dropdown menu for the Loyalty Program. As of writing, the available tasks seem to be social quests such as following and liking X posts, referring friends, and so on. By doing these tasks, you get to earn varying amounts of Moon Beams while leveling up your Season Pass. Over time, this task dashboard should feature gameplay-focused events to earn rewards in.

While you progress through the season and unlock planets, you also have a chance to earn various badges that can be levelled up and transformed into SBTs, potentially opening up more opportunities to earn rewards. Some quests could reward you with lottery tickets to enter the upcoming “More & $MORE Lucky Draws” in which you can win Moon Beams, but also USDC, $MORE tokens, badges, and possibly other prizes.
As the season goes on, you can probably look forward to seeing a wide range of community events, campaigns, and game-specific events to participate in for more opportunities to earn Moon Beams and potentially other rewards. This means that you should be able to play to earn Moon Beams throughout this season by playing the ecosystem’s tower defense strategy game AstrArk alongside casual mini-games such as Puffy 2048. You might want to get ready ahead of time and start playing AstrArk right away by downloading the mobile game on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. It’s free to play and has you set up a squad of varied characters in a strategic formation to engage in tower defense-style PvP and PvE battles.
