What’s New in Gods Unchained Battle Pass Season 7?

Season 7 launched on October 8 at 12 AM UTC, introducing new Core and Promo cards that bring a Halloween-inspired flavor to the game. As usual, players can progress through the standard Fancy Pass or the premium Whale Pass, both packed with new items, cards, and seasonal cosmetics.

This season adds three new Core cards and two new Promo cards to the collection pool:

  • Graverobbers
  • Draka Miner
  • Take to the Trees
  • Dark Lord (Promo)
  • Imp Taskmaster (Whale-exclusive Promo)

The new Core cards are available as rewards in both the Fancy and Whale Passes, and can also be found inside Promo and Whale Packs. The Dark Lord Promo card is included in both reward tracks and packs, while Imp Taskmaster can only be obtained through the Whale Pass, making it one of the rarest cards of the season.

Players who purchase the Whale Pass will receive all Fancy Pass rewards plus several exclusive bonuses, including Diamond Promo cards, additional packs, extra tickets, and an exclusive Nether cardback cosmetic.

The Fancy Pass serves as the standard Battle Pass track for Season 7. It can be purchased for 300 $GODS and contains a variety of card packs, sealed tickets, and cosmetics to earn by leveling up.

The Whale Pass can be purchased directly for 750 $GODS or as an upgrade for players who already own the Fancy Pass. Upgrading unlocks all Whale-level rewards for the levels you’ve already reached, so no additional grinding is required for earlier rewards.

For collectors and high-level players, the Whale Pass provides access to the full set of new Gold and Diamond variants, as well as exclusive cosmetics and the rare Imp Taskmaster Promo that cannot be obtained elsewhere.

How to Play and Earn in Gods Unchained Battle Pass Season 7

Gods Unchained remains a free to play trading card game developed by Immutable and powered by the Immutable zkEVM blockchain, and players can play on PC or mobile while earning rewards through regular gameplay and progression systems such as the Battle Pass, Daily Play & Earn, and Weekend Ranked.

Season 7 runs for 28 days, starting October 8, and includes 60 levels of progression that can be completed by earning XP through matches. Players who gain around 350 XP per day can reach the final level before the season ends.

To maximize play to earn rewards during The Haunted Hour, you can purchase one of the Battle Pass tracks:

  • Fancy Pass (300 $GODS) - Standard path with token, card, and cosmetic rewards.
  • Whale Pass (750 $GODS) - Premium path with Diamond and Gold cards, additional packs, and exclusive cosmetics.

Both passes can be purchased from within the PC version of the game, which is available on Windows and Mac through the official website or the Epic Games Store. Players on mobile (Android and iOS through official app stores) can still participate in Season 7 and earn XP toward their Battle Pass progression, but all pass purchases must be made via the desktop version.

Progressing through the Battle Pass unlocks $GODS tokens, Core and Promo packs, and a variety of cosmetic items. The Fancy and Whale tracks share the same XP system, so upgrading from Fancy to Whale will immediately unlock all premium rewards for your current level.

Outside of the Battle Pass, players can also earn through Daily Play & Earn and Weekend Ranked events. Reaching Rank 7 or higher grants daily $GODS tokens based on the player’s first 10 matches, while Weekend Ranked distributes packs and other prizes depending on rank and performance across the first 18 matches.

Additionally, Sealed Mode offers token-gated competitive gameplay for players looking for higher stakes. Rewards from card packs can be minted on-chain using the Forge, where players burn cards and spend $GODS tokens and in-game Flux to create tradable assets.
