Exclusive rewards are up for grabs in The Annual Easter Community Event that is now live in Sunflower Land, allowing players to play and earn until April 28th. Here’s how it works!

What Is Sunflower Land’s Annual Easter Community Event?

The Annual Easter Community Event is a special limited time play and earn event built by the community exclusively for Sunflower Land. During this community-hosted holiday event, players can enjoy a casual mini-game to earn Easter Tokens. If you collect enough Easter Tokens before the event is over, you could redeem it for various exclusive rewards such as the Super Totem.

Ultimately, you’ll want to try and collect 5000 Easter Tokens and exchange them for the Super Totem, a powerful item that will temporarily improve your faming efficiency for 7 days. Specifically, it makes it so that waiting times for crops, minerals, trees, fruit, and cooking are 50% lower than usual for a whole week. If you want to halve the waiting times for the week you have the most time to play in so that you can make progress at a faster rate, then you’ll definitely want to get your hands on this cool totem.

How to Participate in Sunflower Land’s Easter Community Event

Anyone can participate in Sunflower Land’s Easter Community Event for free by jumping into the browser-based web3 game and visiting a new location on the map that is referred to as the Easter Island. Once you’re there, you can play a nice little mini-game where the goal is to collect as many Easter eggs as you can within a limited amount of time while attempting to reach the required score. This involves holding a basket above your head and moving left and right to catch falling eggs. As you do this though, enemies such as snakes and birds can pop up at any time to try and ruin your day. You can jump over them and you have a couple of hearts, so at least it’s not game over after 1 hit, but you’ll still want to be careful with your movement, as there is plenty of time to mess up.

You can play this event’s mini-game as much as you want, although you do only get 3 free attempts each day. If you manage to get the designated score, your attempt is successful and you are rewarded with 50 Easter Tokens.

Since you can only get 50 Easter Tokens for each successful attempt, this makes it impossible to get the event’s most expensive item as a free to play player, and that is the Super Totem, which costs 5000 Easter Tokens. Even if you played from the first day and successfully beat the mini-game in every attempt, you’d still come up quite short from the required amount, as you can only get a total of 150 tokens from successfully completing all 3 free attempts. If you want the Super Totem, you’re going to need to beat the mini-game 100 times, meaning you can’t get the item as a free to play player. Since there is no actual limit on the number of daily attempts though, this means that after you make use of the free ones, you can choose to buy more attempts. Specifically, you can buy 1 attempt for 3 $FLOWER, 3 attempts for 7 $FLOWER, 7 attempts for 14 $FLOWER, and 25 attempts for 20 $FLOWER . Assuming you can pull off a 100% win rate, this means that you’ll need to spend around 60 $FLOWER tokens to get 75 attempts on top of the free ones if you want to earn 5000 Easter Tokens for the Super Totem.

Next to the Super Totem, players can exchange Easter Tokens for other cheaper limited items, wearables, and collectibles from the Easter Event Shop, such as the Easter Ticket 2025, which gives you a chance of winning $FLOWER after the end of the event.

You can earn $FLOWER tokens by completing deliveries, finishing bounties, and trading resources at the in-game marketplace. It’s not actually possible to deposit and withdraw $FLOWER yet, so if you didn’t hold $SFL tokens in-game, you currently cannot convert them into the upcoming new ERC20 token. $FLOWER is currently only live inside the game itself, with actual public trading planned to begin on May 1st on the Base network, the month in which deposits and withdrawals should also open as well, according to the official schedule.

The Easter Community Event started on April 21st and will end on April 28th.
