Dolce & Gabbana Disco Drip NFTs are Now Live in Decentraland as Linked Wearables

Dolce & Gabbana Disco Drip NFTs are Now Live in Decentraland as Linked Wearables

D&G Disco Drip NFT holders can finally show off their outfits in Decentraland

Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana's Disco Drip NFT collection is now live in Decentraland as linked wearables. With that, holders can equip their avatars with these special outfits before going for a virtual disco party in the metaverse.

In essence, a linked wearable is a 3D representation of an external NFT. It is not part of the Decentraland wearables collection. But rather, it is an external NFT that exists as a link within Decentraland. Dolce & Gabbana's Disco Drip collection is one such example.

To begin with, the Dolce & Gabbana Disco Drip is a collection of 20 unique disco party animals' outfits on Ethereum. This beautiful NFT collection was revealed in partnership with UNXD during the Metaverse Fashion Week at Decentraland in March. Since then, the team has upgraded these costumes with improved aesthetics, set to go live in other metaverses soon.

In case you haven't seen it, you can catch a glimpse of what these disco drips look like in the video below.

What did the community say about Dolce & Gabbana's disco drips?

So far, D&G's disco-themed collection has received tons of positive feedback from the NFT community. "I swear their metaverse collection is just as good it's insane I'm crying," said Twitter user @camille_sum. Another user added: "Been seeing so many disco drip[s] going around and I guess that makes me all the more want it!!!"

Tangpoko, the famous metaverse influencer in Decentraland, jumped at the very first chance to try out Strictly Business, a sassy look in the D&G collection. Holders can even approach her for custom-made posters showing off their Decentraland avatars in D&G outfits.

Some of them also wondered if there would be physical clothing based on the Disco Drip collection. However, many seem to be happy with the digital version just fine. As @Royce_DCL said, there's "no wash required, no discoloration, and no damage" when it comes to virtual garments.
