DOGAMÍ Academy Unveils $450K World Championship

The DOGAMÍ World Championship is making waves with a massive $450K prize pool! This play-to-mint event marks the launch of the free version of DOGAMÍ Academy, a Web3 mobile dog racing game now live on Android and iOS.

Players in the championship will compete for a chance to win one of 4,000 new Dogamí Gamma NFTs. This will lead to a grand finale, where the top performers will vie for a share of the $50,000 prize pool and bonus NFTs from various partners.

The tournament unfolds in three phases: 

1) Play-to-Mint Qualifiers (19th – 29th March) 

For 10 days, players will compete in races with their Iron Dogamí to secure a spot on the leaderboard to win one of the 4,000 Dogalists (whitelist spots). 3,000 Dogalists will be given out as follows (the other 1,000 are allocated to Dogamí holders):

• The 2,000 best Free-to-Play gamers will qualify and receive a Dogalist to mint a Gamma Collection Dogamí NFT.
• 1,000 Dogalists are distributed through partners, guilds, KOLs, and giveaways.

2) 4,000 Dogamí Mint (3rd of April) 

On April 3rd, all qualified players can mint 1 of the 4,000 Dogamí Gamma Collection NFTs for free on Opensea (gas fees are payable in MATIC). This new collection features 5 new breeds with 4 different scarcities. All Gamma NFT holders will qualify to enter the next phase of the tournament – The Grand Final.

3) DOGAMÍ World Championship Grand Final (9th – 16th April)

From April 9th to 16th, all Gamma NFT holders will race against each other to split a $50,000 prize pool. During this round, you will compete in daily events with a 24-hour window to set your best time on a track using your Gamma NFTs. The entry cost for each tournament is 100 STARS + 10 energy. Each tournament awards DWC (DOGAMÍ World Championship) points based on your rank. The Grand Final leaderboard is based on the NFT's total DWC points gained from events over the week.
