Season 2 of the Dæmon Soul Points Program is now live, bringing new ways for players to earn rewards and level up. This latest update rolled out just weeks after Dæmons held its TGE on November 11, slightly delayed from its original date due to a Discord hack.
With over $50,000 in value spread across $DMN, USDC, and character airdrops, Season 2 brings a clearer progression system along with expanded quests and events. It also features a new leaderboard campaign in partnership with Immutable.
More Rewards, Bigger Slice for the Community
According to the team, Season 1 saw 5.5% of the total $DMN token supply given out to players who joined the event. For Season 2, that share has been boosted to 8%, with most of it going to participants of the Soul Points Program.
You can join the campaign by heading to the Points Platform, connecting your wallet, and completing daily and weekly quests. These range from simple tasks like logging in or playing a match, to earning achievements, spending Discord Wheel Spins, and using Gacha Spins gained through gameplay.
As you gather points, your contribution will determine your share of the airdrop at the end of the season. Every task helps, and more points mean more rewards.
What You'll See in Season 2
Season 2 isn't just about a bigger prize pool. There are also updates across the board to make the system smoother and more rewarding. The level cap has been raised to 25, with new abilities unlocking at levels 22 and 24, plus a passive buff at the final level. There are also brand-new achievements, including some made with help from the community.
Progression is easier now, whether you're a casual player or someone who logs in every day. You'll find clearer quests, improved pacing, and better ways to keep track of what you've done.
Points can be earned in 2 main ways:
- In-game quests: Win PvP or PvB matches, unlock achievements, and complete daily tasks.
- Spin-based systems: Get spins from Discord engagement or in-game victories, then use them to unlock extra points and rewards.
On top of that, staking $DMN can boost your airdrop multipliers and unlock extras like cosmetics and future characters.
Weekly Goals and the Warrior Badge
The Warrior Badge is one of the key additions in Season 2. You can unlock it each week by finishing at least 6 daily quests and 1 weekly quest on the Points Platform. These quests are listed inside the platform and remain available for the whole season.
Once unlocked, the Warrior Badge gives a points boost for that week. All progress can be claimed through the Achievements section on the platform.
New Immutable Leaderboard: Compete for 1M $DMN
Season 2 also comes with a standalone leaderboard campaign on Immutable. This event has its own structure, quests, and reset schedule. Here, daily quests refresh every 24 hours at 00:01 UTC, and weekly quests reset every Wednesday at 00:01 UTC.
To join, you'll need a playable Dæmon NFT Champion. Leaderboard quests include tasks like logging in daily, winning PvP matches, and completing streak-based challenges. New quests will be added as the event continues.
If two players finish with the same score, tiebreaker quests will be used. If there is still a tie, the player who reached the score first will get the higher position.
Rewards include:
1st: 160,000 $DMN + 1 NFT
2nd: 120,000 $DMN + 1 NFT
3rd: 80,000 $DMN + 1 NFT
4th–10th: 40,000 $DMN + 1 NFT each
11th–25th: 24,000 $DMN + 1 NFT each
Players can also earn Immutable Gems, which can be used for the weekly draw on Immutable.
What Is Dæmons?
For those new to the game, Dæmons is a browser-based turn-based PvP battler. It draws inspiration from Tamagotchi and Pokémon, letting you mint your own NFT creature based on your wallet activity. You can raise your Dæmon over time, train it, and use it in fights against other players.
Matches are done in real time, and each Dæmon has its own growth path. The game also features AI chat, allowing you to interact with your creature using natural language.
Since Dæmons runs entirely in-browser, there's no need for heavy hardware or installs. It's designed to be accessible and simple to jump into.
Multi-Chain Play with 12 Supported Networks
A standout part of the game is its omnichain setup. Dæmons is now live on 12 blockchains, including Base, Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum, Immutable, Avalanche, Hedera, and more. All of this is made possible through LayerZero, which links all these networks together.
This allows players from any of the supported chains to battle, level up, and earn without needing to move between networks. Each chain also comes with its own special characters, giving you more ways to shape your in-game identity.
Quick Timeline: From Beta to TGE
Dæmons first entered open beta in June. By August, it was live on mainnet. Since then, the game has hosted multiple events, including 2 Immutable leaderboards: the first with a $10K prize pool and a second in October.
They've also run clan tournaments and solo competitions, helping the game build a steady base of players ahead of its full launch.
The TGE for $DMN took place on November 11, after a brief delay from November 7 due to a Discord hack. The token now trades on Toobit and is live on the Base network. There's a fixed supply of 1 billion $DMN, and it serves as the game's only token.
How the $DMN Token Is Used
The $DMN token is central to the Dæmons ecosystem. You can stake it to unlock bigger airdrops, get early access to new character drops, and boost rewards from tournaments or clans.
It also works for in-game purchases, like cosmetic upgrades or evolving your Dæmon.
According to Dæmons' lightpaper, future airdrops will offer 130% more $DMN than this current one, especially for players who choose to stake now.
