The first-ever Dæmons Clan Tournament is now live, offering players three days of competitive PvP action and a shot at over $4,000 in prizes. The tournament kicked off on August 25 and runs through August 28, giving clans a limited window to climb the leaderboard and secure both in-game glory and real-world rewards.
What to Expect From Dæmons Clan Tournament #1
Running for 72 hours, the tournament centers on 1v1 PvP battles between clans. Every win or loss adds to a clan's total score, while individual kill/death (K/D) ratios are also tracked. These two separate metrics form the basis of two main leaderboards: Clan Score and Clan K/D. Both leaderboards share the same prize pool.
To join the competition, clans need at least 10 members and a combined total of 1,000 matches played. All eligible clans are automatically entered into the tournament.
Players can't switch clans during the event, and Direct Challenge mode has been disabled. This helps keep the competition fair by focusing battles on quick matchmaking that pairs clans against each other. Before any prizes are given out, the dev team will check for bots and exploits.
Leaderboard Prizes and Rewards
There are rewards for both clans and individual players, split across the two leaderboard types:
For each leaderboard (Score and K/D), the top three clans receive:
- 1st place: 500 USDC and $500 worth of $DMN
- 2nd place: 250 USDC and $250 worth of $DMN
- 3rd place: 125 USDC and $125 worth of $DMN
That means a total of six clans can win if rankings differ between the two boards. There's also a random draw, where one eligible clan will be picked to receive 250 USDC and $250 in $DMN.
For individual players, the top 10 by PvP Score will also take home prizes:
- 1st place: 100 USDC
- 2nd place: 50 USDC
- 3rd place: 30 USDC
- 4th to 10th: 10 USDC each
PvP scores reset when the tournament began, giving everyone a fresh start.
Tournament Timing and In-Game Progress
As of now, the tournament is in full swing. With only two days remaining, active clans are already pushing to top the boards. In-game leaderboards for both clan and player rankings can be tracked live, adding to the intensity of each match.
There's more than money on the line. Every clan member who places will earn Dæmon Soul Points (DS Points) tied to the game's upcoming $DMN token airdrop. These points come from in-game Achievements, and they help players boost their future token rewards.
Game Overview: What Is Dæmons?
Dæmons is a turn-based PvP game with creature battles, AI companions, and cross-chain gameplay. Inspired by Tamagotchi and Pokémon, players mint a Dæmon NFT that reflects their wallet activity. They raise their Dæmon, engage in PvP, complete quests, and evolve it over time.
The game features real-time matchmaking, chain-specific characters, and AI-powered conversations with pets. Gameplay happens in-browser, making it easy to pick up without needing downloads or heavy hardware.
A Look Back: Mainnet Launch and Minting
On August 15, Dæmons officially launched on mainnet, marking a major milestone after its open beta period. Players can now mint their Dæmon NFT for $18, unlocking full access to the game.
The Dæmons mint is still ongoing and has been extended due to strong demand and the current tournament. Creatures can still be minted as the mainnet phase continues.
Minting a Dæmon is more than just a ticket into the game. It's an onchain identity that connects directly to a player's web3 history. Players earn points through achievements, battles, and social tasks, building toward a $DMN airdrop scheduled for September 2025. There's also an earning feature: 20% of all app revenue goes to players based on their PvP Score, claimable directly in the app.
Dæmons also offers referral rewards of up to 30% on upfront sales, with extra points through social quests. These DS Points play a key role in future token airdrops.
Omnichain Game Access Across 12 Blockchains
One of the standout features of Dæmons is its omnichain setup. The game is live across 12 networks, including Base, Polygon, Optimism, Sonic, Ancient8, Abstract, Immutable, Arbitrum, Soneium, Sei, Avalanche, Binance Smart Chain, and Hedera.
All these chains are linked through LayerZero, making it possible for players from different ecosystems to battle and earn without borders. Each chain also has its own unique character in the game, and players can select which ecosystem they want to join.
This multi-chain design opens the door for future ecosystem rewards, including potential airdrops from networks like Monad and Soneium. While not guaranteed, the game hints at possible "alpha" for long-term players who stay active onchain.
The Beta Test That Started It All
Before launching on mainnet, Dæmons ran a public open beta from June 10 to June 13. This test gave players 84 hours to earn Soul Points through PvP, quests, and achievements. Rewards included over 20,000 points in total and access to special beta-only features.
The open beta also introduced real-time PvP, a new quest system, pet evolutions, and two never-before-seen characters. It was playable across testnets for several chains, helping the team stress-test the game's omnichain framework ahead of mainnet.
Those who took part in the beta were able to earn a chunk of the $DMN token allocation. A total of 0.4% of the token's supply was reserved for early testers, covering Clan, Individual, and Content prizes. There was also a $500 prize pool tied to social media content, bug reporting, and mini-challenges.
Road to Airdrop and Beyond
The $DMN token is scheduled to launch in September 2025, and it forms a core part of Dæmons' ecosystem. Players who've been earning DS Points through battles, quests, and achievements will have a chance to claim an airdrop when the token goes live.
The game is also working toward evolving its playable Dæmons into higher ranks. Rarer forms of each creature are set to carry greater value, both in gameplay and as collectibles. With ranks up to three available, those who evolve early may gain a long-term edge.
The current Clan Tournament is one of the last big events before the $DMN token TGE. With in-game Achievements playing a key role in how rewards are given away, PvP now matters more than ever for anyone looking to build their presence in the Dæmons world.
