Defimons, a Monster-catching Online Role Playing Game, has released a new edition of its monthly update. The previous month was full of development fixes and structural updates in preparation for the game's next chapter. In the past month, the team has changed the game's Hunting Season, Battle System, Farming, Branding, Marketing, and other aspects. The hunting season event was among the first marketing events to gain new users. The event successfully attracted 4500+ new players, maintained 400 DAU, and added 80+ new holders to the community.
Furthermore, the backend development team did a finishing touch on the structural development for the phase 1 testing of the battle system. The art team is also working on creating attack animations. However, more details have been withheld concerning the Battle System. Additionally, the front-end development team completed the structural development for the internal phase testing of the farming system. The team aims to ensure that farming feels intuitive and fun and is working to improve the user experience and asset updates.
The Defimons team recruited an art team to work on a user interface to revamp for the front end. This change was inspired by the user feedback from the hunting season to improve user readability, accessibility support, and multiple languages support. In addition, the team also started working on a branding revamp. They plan to further focus on marketing strategies for web2 with the aid of platforms such as instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
To expand the team towards the launch, four different hirings took place. This included a new art director for the battle system, a game developer, a narrative designer, and more. Alongside the hirings, the team has kept in active touch with multiple VCs and angels to raise funds and extend their runway.
