How to reveal your DFK Heroes' crafting genes

Cross-chain fantasy RPG DeFi Kingdoms (DFK) has recently introduced Gene Rerolling, a method used to unveil the Hero's Crafting Professions (formerly known as Stats Unknown 1 and 2). 

According to the announcement, each existing Hero must undergo a reroll to reveal its two Crafting Professions. The reroll will set the Dominant and three Recessive genes for both traits, as shown in the table below. Each Crafting Profession is associated with two stats and an Element. Heroes with stats and Elements that align with their Crafting Professions will be more proficient at that craft. 

When Heroes reroll their crafting genes, they will receive a slight increase in both stats. Heroes descended from Team Heroes #1–19 and received "tainted" genes can also reroll their genes with this mechanic. When a Hero with tainted genes is rerolled, it will receive all bonuses from the crafting rewards, plus a small boost to its existing stats. 

To start rerolling, players must visit the Esoteric Wanderer at the Meditation Circle in Serendale or Crystalvale and select "Gene Rerolling." They can reroll multiple Heroes at once or choose individual Heroes to reroll. Once the process is completed, players will be presented with a Gene Reroll Rewards module that displays the newly acquired genes and stat boosts. 

To prevent tainted genes from spreading further, DeFi Kingdoms will not allow Heroes with tainted genes and un-rerolled Heroes to be listed in the Tavern. Un-rerolled Heroes cannot participate in Summon, Dark Summon, crafting, PvP combat, or be placed for Hire. Also, Heroes with tainted genes will be entirely hidden from the public's view.
