Decimated, a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk survival game in development on Unreal Engine 5 for Solana, is getting an exclusive NFT mint this summer on Magic Eden.
When it was initially announced at the end of last month, it was revealed that this upcoming mint will allow the community to gain NFTs that “aren’t just mere collectibles” but are instead in-game characters that bring gameplay utility that includes strategic advantages and unique abilities. The NFTs will be seamlessly integrated into the game’s dystopian world and provide exclusive access to specialized zones as well as advanced weaponry. The minting will take place exclusively on the well-known NFT marketplace that is Magic Eden, with summer being the timeframe given so far.
This month however, developer Fracture Labs shared some more details on the upcoming NFTs as well as info on how to get whitelisted. Referred to as the Death Valley NFT collection in a recent Discord announcement, holding an NFT from this collection will give you access to the closed alpha version of the Web3 title, as well as exclusive community status & roles, and early access to marketplace drops and new staking systems. Speaking of staking, there will also be NFT staking exclusive rewards and bonuses for $DIO staking.
To have a chance of winning a whitelist spot for the pre-sale, you’ll want to reach level 10 in the game’s official Discord server, earn points from the #engage channel, keep an eye on the #giveaways channel, and participate in the Zealy campaign that launched this weekend. The top 100 on the Zealy Sprint leaderboard will get a whitelist spot and alpha access, while the top 3 get a free mint alongside alpha access to the MMORPG, with the winner also receiving a $25 merch voucher. The Sprint leaderboard concludes on July 13th. Throughout the duration of the campaign, new quests will continuously be added to give you more chances to climb the rankings.
Decimated was listed on the Epic Games Store last month, with plans to launch in open alpha in December 2024.
