The Decentraland Music Festival is live and running through December 6, 2025. This 4-day event brings a packed schedule of Twitch streamers, music acts, live digital drops, and hidden in-game gifts spread across a detailed virtual plaza. While the festival began on December 3, visitors still have 2 full days left to join in and explore what's happening in Decentraland.
To access the event, you'll need to download the Decentraland game client and create an account. Once inside, a companion window will guide you to scheduled shows, artist experiences, and hidden gift locations. Every part of the plaza is built by a different creator, community, or brand, giving each zone its own look and feel.
Twitch Artists Headline the Virtual Lineup
Decentraland's 2025 music festival focuses on "stream-native" shows. Most artists featured across the 4 days are established Twitch DJs or performers with a loyal following.
A few names have already stood out during the first 2 days. OfficeDrummer brought a fast-paced, high-energy performance to the main stage. DJ Vlouue played a hard techno set similar to her long-running Twitch shows. Thug Shells delivered a mix of freestyle rap and heavy bass. Sarah Coponat played a neoclassical piano set with live improvisation layered into each piece.
Other acts on the lineup include OhhClaire, known for deep, progressive techno, and Henny, whose sets combine G-house, bass house, and dubstep. MiaMakesMusic has also taken the stage with a mix that jumps from anime to rock. Steve Sai, a regular in Decentraland's past music festivals, returned with a heavy techno performance full of long builds and dark synths.
On December 5, new names are set to appear. YangMusic will headline at 14:00 UTC. Rad TV follows at 15:00 UTC with a video stream curated by its creator community. Then at 16:00 UTC, the HAPE Party Pad opens for 2 hours of music and avatar fashion.
Collect Merch During Headline Sets in Decentraland Music Festival 2025
Wearables are dropping live during main stage sets throughout the event. These virtual items are available for a short time and tied to specific shows. They appear in the middle of the stage during a lightshow and disappear as the set ends.
The Aura Headset, for example, dropped during sets by Coppola and Vlouue. The Idol Shorts appeared during shows from Sarah Coponat and Akidcalledmake, and the Idol Jacket was available during performances from Thug Shells and OfficeDrummer.
Hunt for Exclusive Gifts in Decentraland Music Festival 2025
The gift hunt is a separate part of the festival and includes 19 digital items hidden across the plaza. These are not dropped during shows, but they're found by exploring builds, walking through alleyways, and checking hidden corners of the map.
Once collected, each item is tracked in your companion window and added to your backpack. You can access it by pressing the 'B' key at any time and equip what you find on the spot.
On December 5, gift hunt windows are active from 10:00–11:00 UTC and again from 12:00–13:00 UTC. The same schedule is expected for December 6, offering late visitors a full day to complete the hunt.
Explore Party Pads and Live Social Hubs
Every day of the festival unlocks new Party Pads, which are creator-built hubs where you can join in for DJ sets, streams, and fashion events.
On December 5, Rad TV's Party Pad runs a community music video stream starting at 15:00 UTC. One hour later, the HAPE Party Pad opens up with a mix of music and avatar styling. This location blends virtual streetwear culture with live sets and digital loot.
Other Party Pads featured earlier in the week include MusicaW3, a Latin American artist zone; Psychedelics Anonymous, a parkour club with music and art; and aKIDcalledBEAST, which runs an all-day club-style experience. Each space offers a unique mix of visuals, music, and collectibles tied to the community behind it.
Interactive Experiences and Parkour Courses
Outside the stage areas, Decentraland Music Festival 2025 includes over a dozen explorable experiences. Some are built around movement challenges, while others focus on visuals, sound, or interaction.
Crash Site Parkour lets you climb through the wreck of a massive alien ship. Space Elevation Parkour takes you from a launch pad to orbit, with platforms and airlocks to time correctly. Pennies in Purgatory offers something slower, with audio installations and shifting light trails designed around the theme of time and value.
Other builds focus on how sound and visuals react to emotion. Psyche-Stream lets you press emoji buttons to shape a music-driven visual show. Chat, Is This Real? turns a Twitch in-joke into a floating platform world surrounded by raining emojis.
Crystal Cortex is a glitch art garden that treats digital errors as part of its design. Phygital Gate explores how online and offline spaces overlap through responsive visuals and sound.
Each build includes coordinates and creator names. You can teleport directly to any of them by typing /goto followed by the coordinates in the chat bar.
What to Expect on December 6
The final day of Decentraland Music Festival 2025 includes one last round of events. Gift hunts are active from 10:00 to 16:00 UTC. Grouped wearable drops return later in the day. The event wraps with a closing set at the HAPE Party Pad from 16:00 to 18:00 UTC.
Once that final DJ set ends, the plaza will stay open, but no new events are scheduled.
