Dark Table CCG, the 4-player collectible card game built by Doonamai, is preparing to launch its Founder's Pack mint on December 11. The limited-supply drop will be available through OpenSea, with 5,000 packs set to be minted on the Somnia Network. While pricing and mint details haven't been released yet, the team has shared what buyers can expect from the packs once they're live.

What to Expect from the Founder's Pack Mint

The Founder's Pack introduces some of the rarest and most rewarding cards in the entire Dark Table ecosystem. Each pack offers a limited, rarity-based drop and includes exclusive content such as the Founder's Edition card back and signature versions of key characters. Players who mint and hold these packs will get access to multiple layers of in-game and out-of-game perks, as well as rewards tied to gameplay and tournaments.

The team has confirmed that cards from these packs will play a key role in Dark Table's competitive and reward systems. Using Founder's cards not only boosts performance in ranked matches but also unlocks access to the game's upcoming $10,000 Rewards Program, backed by Somnia and Doonamai.

A Closer Look at Founder's Pack Perks

The packs have a fixed supply, and all cards inside will follow a rarity-based drop system. Players will receive a Founder's Edition card back, and each Founder's card comes with a signature, extra deck copies, and enhanced in-game utility.

Those who collect and play with more Founder's cards will enjoy higher reward multipliers. This applies directly to the monthly Rewards Program, where players' deck composition and win/loss ratio help determine the share of SOMI they receive from the $1,000+ pool distributed every month.

Founder's Pack holders will also be eligible for bounty buybacks, which allow the community to vote on which cards the studio should repurchase. Players can use Bribe Tokens to vote on weekly bounty cards. If selected, the card becomes eligible for a buyback at a set rate (eg: $100 SOMI), and using the selected bounty card during matches provides extra multipliers.

Dark Table CCG Monthly Rewards Program

How the Rewards Program Works

To earn from the monthly Rewards Program, players must use Founder's cards in their decks. Every month, over $1,000 worth of SOMI tokens is given away to players. Each player's reward is based on their performance and deck composition.

Raw score is calculated using wins, losses, and the average number of Founder's cards used per match. Players with more wins and more Founder's cards get higher multipliers, giving them a bigger share of the pool.

Bounty Buybacks and Community Voting

One of the more unique systems in this game is the weekly bounty mechanic. Each week, the community uses Bribe Tokens to vote on which card becomes the next Bounty Card. The winning card gets assigned bounty perks for that week, including reward multipliers and guaranteed minimum payouts.

Each bounty card played offers a +0.1x boost to your reward multiplier. Players who use that card and win matches receive higher shares from the pool. On top of that, the studio will offer a set buyback rate for the selected Bounty Card, giving players the option to sell it directly for SOMI.

Cards selected as bounties cannot be selected again for 4 weeks, keeping the meta fresh and encouraging players to rotate strategies.

Different card rarity in Dark Table CCG

Card Rarity Tied to Rewards and Access

All cards in Dark Table CCG are ranked by rarity, and that rarity directly affects reward opportunities. Standard cards include Sapphire (0.69%), Emerald (0.55%), Ruby (0.19%), and Diamond (0.23%). These offer smaller multipliers and lower reward potential.

Foil cards like Gold Foil (0.009%) and Holographic (0.003%) are much rarer and offer more benefits, such as gated tournament access, extra copies in deck, and some bounties.

Founder's Edition cards sit above all others in the reward tier. These cards offer large bounties, unlock bribe voting, qualify for exclusive tournaments, and benefit from the highest multipliers. They also come with extra copies in deck and limited edition drops, giving them better value in both casual and competitive play.

How to Get a Whitelist Spot

While the mint opens to the public by next week, players can try to get on the whitelist early. According to the team, one guaranteed way is by owning the "Under the Table Pass," which gives a WL spot for each pass held. These passes are available on OpenSea for 33 SOMI, or roughly $8.60 at the time of writing.

The team is also hosting a series of AMA and game test events leading up to the mint. These include:

  • Game Night AMA (Dec 3, 3PM UTC)
  • Dream Catalyst X AMA (Dec 3, 5PM UTC)
  • E-Constellation AMA (Dec 4, 1PM UTC)
  • Legacy Web3 AMA (Dec 4, 2PM UTC)
  • EDEN AMA (Dec 4, 4PM UTC)

Taking part in these sessions could get you whitelist access and extra info about the mint and reward systems.

Overview of Dark Table CCG

Dark Table CCG is a free to play collectible card game that focuses on 4-player matches instead of the usual one-on-one format. Built by Doonamai and powered by the Somnia Network, it draws from a dark Lovecraftian setting and blends deck-building strategy with social and political interaction.

Players take on the role of "Keymasters" who sit at a round table and compete to control worlds. Each match features dynamic gameplay elements like temporary alliances, betrayals, and an enrage system where leaders unleash powerful abilities once conditions are met.

Decks are built instantly using Deck Tokens, which removes the need to grind or farm cards and encourages creativity. Players can customize avatars, 3D playmats, titles, and card art, with frequent updates and seasonal content on the way.

The game first launched in late 2023 on Steam and the Epic Games Store. In 2025, the team joined the Dream Catalyst Accelerator Program, which allows them to expand Dark Table's web3 features with support from Somnia.
