After unveiling the litepaper for CropBytes Conquest and opening registrations for the beta version of the world-building PvP title, the team behind the original crypto farming sim CropBytes is now back with details on Biomes for their upcoming new title.
Biome Details
In a new tweet, the developers have provided info on five Biomes that will be included and needed for the world-building/RTS aspect of their new Web3 game. Represented as varied hexagonal tiles on the map, these include Landscape Biomes, Grassland Biomes, Rock Biomes, Water Biomes, and Forest Biomes.
Landscape & Grassland Biomes
Landscape Biomes are set to be the core tiles players will use to build their world in the form of houses, roads, and more structures that will help in creating a living city of your own. Sustaining your home will require Grassland Biomes, as this is where you will be sowing and growing various crops for feeding your population referred to as Hearts.
Rock, Water, & Forest Biomes
If you’re looking to create advanced buildings and craft stronger items, you’ll need the Rock Biomes, as this is where you will find the stone resources that are set to be important for both crafting and for certain important structures.
In order to keep your crops growing and your Hearts free from thirst, you will need water resources, which you will be able to get from the Water Biomes. Last but not least, the Forest Biomes will serve as areas for gathering wood resources, which will be essential for both crafting and building, but could also end up being used as a fuel source.
If you haven’t already, there still seems to be time to sign up for the upcoming first phase of the beta version of CropBytes Conquest by filling in a Google Form linked in the game’s official Discord server. Beta testing is planned to start at the end of this month and will initially focus on turn-based 1v1 PvP battles before heading to the second phase that will include world-building, RTS gameplay where these Biomes will be utilized.
