The developers of blockchain farming game CropBytes, one of the oldest crypto games still around, have announced a new PvP world-building game called CropBytes Conquest.
What Is CropBytes Conquest?
CropBytes Conquest aims to combine strategic 1v1 PvP battles with world-building gameplay that includes taking care of your own biomes. After more than 5 years of CropBytes Farm, the team is now looking to expand upon its ecosystem with a more action-focused Web3 title that revolves around 3 important features: Biomes, Hearts, and Superheroes.

Biomes are your own land that you will be able to nurture once the game goes live in Phase 2 and as seen in the above image, they come in different types. Hearts are basically your minions that will live in your biomes and help you collect resources you need to build your world.

Players of the farming sim are familiar with Superheroes, who have served as loyal companions buffing farms more than 4 years, but with this upcoming title, they will turn into ERC-721 NFTs with unique on-chain stats on the Polygon network and will help you guard your turf from other players.
Launch Date

While no specific release date is available, what is known however is that the game will launch into two phases. The first phase will focus on PvP and allow you to earn essence points, which you’ll need for phase 2 when the world-building aspect goes live. At the time of writing, no timeframe is available for the second phase, but as for the first phase, an admin from the game’s official Discord server who goes by the name Brotherminttea has revealed that this PvP-focused beta release will take place at some point in February.
Before the beta version goes live, it seems we can look forward to seeing the game’s litepaper be published on January 30th.
