On-chain game developer Uncharted has officially announced the launch of the Creator Program Season 4 for Fishing Frenzy, introducing new perks and giving the web3 gaming community a new opportunity to refer friends and create game-related content while earning rewards for doing so.
What Is the Fishing Frenzy Creator Program?
The Fishing Frenzy Creator Program is a community initiative that rewards players who refer friends and produce content about the cozy fishing game across social media platforms such as X. The program is designed to support creators who enjoy sharing gameplay, guides, or general impressions with their audiences.
Applying to the program allows players to publish content about a game they already enjoy while receiving rewards for contributing to its online presence. Participants receive tools that help the team track posts and referrals, which may lead to benefits such as a custom referral code and $RON tokens.
What’s New in Fishing Frenzy Creator Program Season 4?
For Season 4, Fishing Frenzy’s Creator Program now comes with a variety of new perks that bring bigger rewards for participants to earn.
Specifically, any creator with a verified badge can now receive a 1.2x score multiplier to help climb the leaderboard for more rewards. There are now also Karma rewards with $FISH perks as well. You don’t have to focus on creating content on X either to participate, as it is now possible to win $200 USDC by ranking among the top 10 non-X creators. Lastly, the program has now been integrated with Ethos and Moni “for smarter scoring,” creating an overall better experience.
Last season saw 20k $RON tokens be distributed to the top 200 creators, with SSS tier earning 500 $RON each. The prize pool for this season does not seem to have been revealed at the time of writing. If you enjoy this web3 game and would like to be rewarded for creating content about it and referring gamers to it, then here is how you can participate.
How to Participate in Fishing Frenzy’s Creator Program Season 4
To participate in Season 4 of Fishing Frenzy’s Creator Program, head on over to the program’s official website and sign in using your X account to gain access to the creator dashboard. It’s important to note that before you do this, you should link your X account to Fishing Frenzy first in the game’s settings before joining the program. You can play for free on a web browser through the game’s website. As of writing however, the game is currently not live due to preparations being underway for Chapter 2 and the launch of the $FISH token, so you will have to wait a bit before being able to properly join.
If you’re a non-X creator that wants to join the program without an X account, you will then have to open a ticket in the game’s official Discord server. Any creator on X who does not have at least 500 followers should also open a ticket and submit their X username.
Once inside, you’ll be able to view the creator dashboard, introduced in Season 2, in order to track metrics and see your leaderboard position.
What Is the $FISH Token?
$FISH is an upcoming ERC20-C token that is set to be issued on the Ronin network. It is described in the whitepaper as an asset that follows a “Proof of Contribution” model. The token is presented as a central currency for a broader ecosystem that is intended to reward users who take part in activities that support the web3 title.
The whitepaper states that players who contribute through engagement, community support, content creation, or other forms of participation may receive rewards that can also include this on-chain token. The system is designed so that active involvement within the ecosystem is recognized.
$FISH will function alongside a companion token called $xFISH. The companion token is spend-only (not tradable) and is used in areas related to rewards and economic sinks within the game. Conversions between $FISH and $xFISH will follow rules set out in the project documentation. The documentation also highlights 2 points: the first is that contribution will be the primary factor for distributing token rewards, while the second is that incentives are intended to support long-term participants rather than short-term activity.
An official TGE date for this token has not been announced yet, though airdrop claims and staking are now live. Check out our piece on the launch of the $FISH whitepaper to learn more about the game’s core token.
