Crazy Defense Heroes announces the Atari Invasion event

The developers of Crazy Defense Heroes, a free-to-play tower defense mobile game, have announced the Atari Invasion event in a recent tweet.

Starting on August 19 and ending on September 2, players will be able to play 16 new levels which feature retro visuals inspired by the graphics of iconic Atari games. These retro-themed levels will be playable through Normal, Hard and Crazy difficulty game modes. Included in this time-limited event are, alongside a unique world map, “special enemy skins” as well as a new boss. 

During this event players will be able to earn exclusive Atari cards from 3 different chests: the Premium Atari chest, Legendary Atari chest and the Atari chest. The first one is guaranteed to include one exclusive 2-star Atari card but also has the possibility of giving an exclusive 4-star Atari card instead. On the other hand, the Legendary Atari chest guarantees an exclusive 4-star Atari card, while info on what can be earned from the Atari chest was not given, other than the fact that it can be gained for free by successfully completing the invasion event.

The 2D title is available on Android and iOS devices and features play-to-earn daily rewards as well as rewards for those who gain a certain amount of XP during one month. These rewards are given in the form of the $TOWER token for those who link their account and complete KYC verification on the official website. A TOWER Token Web Store was recently released.
