Continuum World First Explorers Now Live

After several weeks of delays, Continuum World finally launches the first live version of their game, known as First Explorers. This free to play game mode allows players to gather resources, construct buildings, and complete missions for various rewards!

Continuum World launches First Explorers, the initial phase of their gathering and building gameplay. In First Explorers, players harvest materials from land plots, either from the wild, or through a building constructed by a player.

Each wild harvest brings in 1-3 different resources based on the type and rarity of the plot. Players can receive harvest bonuses by equipping their Umi with clothing / accessories. Wild resources spawn randomly. Players just have to look around the map to find an available spot. There are also random chests that appear which can contain UM tokens or trophy points. Players need energy to harvest wild resources, which replenishes slowly over time. Or, they can choose to purchase batteries, which will refill energy supplies.

Each biome type produces different resources. And each rarity level also has a special resource only available at that rarity, making all plots worthwhile. In addition, some resources can only be acquired from buildings.

Players who own the buildings receive a steady, passive income of the associated resource. Other players can pay a fee to use a building to acquire resources, with a small percentage of that fee going directly to the owning player.

The purpose of gathering all of these resources is to complete Missions. Each Mission has a specific reward, and a specific set of resources needed. Rewards include UM tokens, trophy points (for a leaderboard), and NFTs. As you might imagine, acquiring an NFT item will require significantly more resources than the other rewards. All of the missions have a limited number of times they can be completed, so there is some competition among players. When missions run out they will be replaced with new Mission options.

What is Continuum World?

Continuum World is a fantasy world of sky islands players collect resources and improve their avatars, or UMi. Whether exploring the world or farming their own land, gathering resources is the aim of the game. Used for crafting, upgrades, and Missions (quests), resources come in a variety of types based on the type of biome on the land, and the rarity of the land.

Continuum World is free to play, though those who own land can earn passive income, and those who equip their Umi avatars with NFT items receive bonuses to their harvests.
