Here's all you need to know about Ever Crystals in Civitas

Civitas, a 4X blockchain MMO, has revealed more info about Ever Crystals, which can be made by combining Ever Fragments that play a vital role in the land generation. 

According to the team, Crystals will allow players to affect changes to their NFT lands at an almost molecular level. These Crystals are created by fusing Fragments, which can be obtained from the marketplace or acquired by holding a Chosen character. 

Burning 8 Fragments will give you a Bonus Crystal while burning 10 will give you a Resource Crystal. When the Fragments are burned, they are forever destroyed. Players can craft Resource Crystals or Bonus Crystals, which have different functions in the land gameplay. 

Resource Crystals will grant access to new resource deposits or increase players' deposits. On the other hand, Bonus Crystals are focused on improving the functioning values of buildings or the population. For instance, it can increase the production speed in a building or increase the population morale.

Players could also produce Refined Crystals by burning four Crystals of the same type. When minting these Crystals, each player gets to choose from a list of positive and negative effects of all Crystals used for the minting. Other than that, there are Foundation Crystals, which are unique pieces available only during special events. 

So, which type of Crystals should you go for? According to the team, this depends on your player profile, which could be a Harvester, Warrior, or Producer. Harvesters usually focus on collecting Resource Crystals that provide them with more resource deposits. On the other hand, Warriors and Producers are more interested in Bonus Crystals, which offer them troop management and productivity bonuses.
