Plai Labs, the gaming studio developing Champions Ascension, have officially announced that their skill-based arena RPG has now been listed on Steam, and to mark the occasion, they’ve decided to open up their free-to-play pre-alpha server and have it run every day, 24/7.
The blockchain title now has its own official store page on the biggest PC gaming distribution platform, opening up the opportunity for a broader gaming audience to notice the non-blockchain version of the action-packed third-person title.
In order to spread the word and hopefully get more noticed on Steam, the team is encouraging the community to wishlist the game while reposting, commenting, and tagging friends in the tweet down below, which contains a new gameplay trailer made for the Steam launch.
No specific release date is available at the time of writing, with the Steam page stating that the game is “coming soon.” If you don’t want to wait for the Steam release, then no worries, as you can already dive into the pre-alpha version of the game for free at any time, as the developers have decided to open up their server to run 24/7 instead of being live only at scheduled timeframes. Everyone who would like to try the third-person fighting game out can sign up for an account on the official website using an e-mail. Players do not need an NFT to play, and no wallet needs to be connected either, letting you simply download the game’s client and enjoy playing for free up to the official Steam launch.
