Features Of the New Updates

Chainmonsters, a play-to-earn, massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), shared details of its progress in August. Via a tweet, the game said,

The game has released the official crystal skin variation of Stingloreon, a cactus resembling Chainmon. Each skin is handcrafted, unique, and customizable by holders.

It also made UI changes: Objects of interest (NPCs, items, etc.) will now show their name and an optional profession, class, and identity sub-title, making it easier to spot essential characters. In addition, next to the object of interest will be a UI popup alongside the hotkey for PC/Mac and a touch-icon for mobile.

Some interesting characters have been added to specific locations as part of their owner’s backstory. Thus, players will see Chainmons of different characters as part of their identity and history.

Demo Version and Gamecontract System

The team is working on the demo version, and the release date will be announced soon. This version will feature daily activities to help the team work on the game functions, such as daily quests, challenges (PvP), and so on. In addition, Chainmonsters will give incentives like exclusive items, cosmetics, and other NFTs through a leaderboard system to the players.

The game has also launched a new GameContract system on Flow (a basic proof-of-concept) to record on-chain game activities. All the DAU will now be reflected on-chain alongside some specific game events. In addition, every DAU will be tracked by aggregation sites such as DappRadar to control traffic as soon as the Demo is launched.
