Carrieverse Adds New Year Event & More in Festive Update

Metaverse platform Carrieverse has received a new in-game update in tune with the holidays, adding a New Year Event while announcing a new season and more. 

New Year Quest Event & Items 

This festive event is said to feature 3 types of New Year’s Drawing Boxes. The announcement for the January 2024 update says that players should head to Kay, Pine and M in order to learn more. Players are set to receive exclusive items, with more details on this event set to soon be given, according to the official post. 

Next to the event, the developers have released 2 New Year-themed items: Camellia Hanbok Package and Water Dragon Fist Emote Package. 

New Season Pass 

The new season pass, titled Blue Dragon’s Protection, is set to begin on January 2nd. Through this pass, players will be able to earn various items, such as Celeb and Zems, as well as goodies related to the Blue Dragon, which is the representative animal of 2024. 

Additional Changes 

Next to these celebratory additions, the update also comes with various changes, such as the removal of the discard fish button from the fishing system. 

The December theme brought by Sam continues to remain live, and you can still find him hanging around next to the hot dog truck in the Plaza should you want to still enjoy the theme. 

If you’d like a tour around the plaza, then you’ll want to check out the bus service, which is now live alongside other means of transportation. 

The Costume Shop now contains 8 types of packages that were previously sold in the Goods Shop. This means that you can now buy them individually at standard prices instead of the previous discounted prices, with the official post mentioning that the furniture part of these packages set to be updated. 

9 packages, alongside the Santa and Fruit Fishing Rod packages, are being discounted, so you’ll want to act fast if you were thinking of getting the packages listed below.
