Calamity’s Last Playtest Goes Live with $4,400 Up for Grabs

Calamity's last playtest is now live, marking a key stage before its Play to Airdrop (P2A) campaign begins. Running from September 3rd to 13th, this event is a great chance for you to dive into the game, explore its mechanics, and compete for a share of the $4,400 prize pool.

This playtest is essential for the team to finalize the game's polish. The goal is to refine Calamity further, making sure the game can handle the expected load and iron out any last-minute bugs. This preparation is vital as the P2A campaign, where players earn points through gameplay, is just around the corner. These airdrop points will determine their token distributions during the campaign.

Prizes and Competitions

To keep the community engaged, two contests are running during the playtest:

1. In-game Activities Contest: This event is perfect for OG players. Three warriors, three archers, and three mages who achieve the highest levels by the end of the playtest will win $200 USDT each. The first warrior, archer, and mage to reach level 25 will get an extra $200 USDT each. Players must post a screenshot of their character in the city with their level visible on Calamity's Creative Discord channel.
2. Content Creation Contest: Content creators can also get involved by producing video content using in-game footage. This can include game guides, epic moment compilations, or dungeon speedruns. The best content, judged by the team, will be awarded. There are ten winning spots available, with each winner receiving $200 USDT. To take part, creators must post their content on Twitter and share the link in the Creative Discord channel by September 16th, 6:00 PM (HKT).

How to Join the Playtest?

If you haven't joined yet, there's still time. To gain access, follow these steps:

• Acquire an Artifact: Players must first obtain an NFT Artifact from the Calamity collection on OpenSea.
• Verification: After getting an Artifact, players should verify their holder status on Calamity's Discord.
• Get a Code: Open a ticket via the support-and-collab channel in Discord to receive an Epic Store access code.
• Unlock the Game: Use the given code to unlock the Calamity game on the Epic Store and join the playtest.

Calamity's Core Mechanics
