The team behind Bushi, a third-person competitive shooter in development in Unreal Engine 5 for the Sui Network, has officially announced the delay of the game’s official release, as well as the mint date for the Battlepass NFT, moving both anticipated events over to Wednesday, June 14th.
The Battlepass NFT is described as being the “first ever fully dynamic Battlepass NFT’ to be launching on the aforementioned Layer 1 blockchain, with the NFT featuring 70 levels of “hard-fought progression” alongside more than 20 in-game items. It was initially scheduled to launch on June 1st on Clutchy, a gaming and NFT marketplace on Sui, but the developers have had to delay the mint date by 2 weeks due to encountering “unexpected issues in our smart contract delivery date.” In an effort to put security as their number one priority, the team has decided to wait for the full auditing process to finish before commencing the mint.
As for the game itself, the reason behind the delay stems from an unexpected networking issue that made players get kicked out of matches as well as prevent them from joining lobbies. While a solution to the problem has been found, the team needs more time to make sure everything is working properly for a full release.
The official page for the Battlepass mint can be found linked in this tweet here, with the page also featuring further details on the game itself, while you can check out some gameplay in the meantime through the video down below.
