Blockchain gaming ecosystem Bullieverse has announced that they have officially released Bull Run, their first Web3 mobile game on Base, worldwide as a free-to-play title on the Play Store and App Store.
Bull Run is a casual endless runner game in which you traverse 3D environments on a hoverboard by dodging obstacles such as mine carts and trees while customizing your avatar with different shirts, pants, capes and more. Made in Unreal Engine and running on Coinbase’s Layer 2 network, Base, the Web3 title is the first one to integrate their Beyond Passport account solution, enabling easier player onboarding by allowing players to set up a Beyond Account through social logins such as Google and Facebook in order to access the game.
Players can compete for rewards by climbing to the top of the leaderboard of various competitions, while owners of Bull and Bear NFTs can use their assets in-game as customizable 3D characters. Currently only one competition titled “The First Run” is available purely for fun with no rewards and entry price, but since the game recently launched, more tournaments with actual rewards will likely be added over time.
There are a total of 4 different maps to choose from at the time of writing, one of which is called Pudgy World and consists of Pudgy Penguins chilling about the map, watching you miserably fail to get past the many trees and obstructions in your icy path.
Bull Run was initially announced in April last year with the release of its first trailer, making it the ecosystem’s first game for mobile devices. After numerous beta updates, the game is now officially globally live for anyone to jump in and enjoy for free.
