Bridgeworld, the interoperable home of Treasure, a community-driven ecosystem fueled by $MAGIC, has announced the start of Phase 2 of The Beacon Harvester event.
This marks the second time that this collaboration is happening with the developers of The Beacon, a free-to-play action roguelike RPG. In the first phase, which kicked off earlier this month, players had a chance to fight in dungeons and collect the Scales of Emerion, a limited-time tradable item gained by taking down the Grin, until June 14th. With that over, phase 2 is now underway since June 19th, and will last way longer than the first one – 3 months to be exact. While this difference may seem quite large, the duration may give you a hint that the nature of this phase is rather different, too.
Phase 2 of this event is essentially a staking game that follows up on the item players could gain during the first phase. Those who don’t have the item might be able to purchase it from someone else on the Treasure marketplace. With the Scales of Emerion, players are able to take the aforementioned earned item and turn it into Ancient Permits, which are needed in order to stake $MAGIC. A total of 2000 $MAGIC can be staked per Permit, while a wallet is allowed to stake a total of 20 Permits, which means a player could stake up to a total of 40k $MAGIC on their wallet. You can stake these Permits to a Harvester, boosting the Mining Power of it and giving you a chance of earning more $MAGIC every week until September, as the more power a Harvester has, the more weekly rewards could be allocated to it. Each Harvester has a maximum cap of 6 million $MAGIC.
There’s more it though, as Harvesters can rival each other using Pet NFTs. For the full details on all the mechanics surrounding this second phase, you can check out official Twitter thread down below, which also contains a link to a guide providing in-depth explanation.
