Boss Fighters has officially scheduled the $BFTOKEN TGE for May 7 at 2 PM UTC. The token will be available for trading shortly after on exchanges like MEXC and Gate.io, with additional listings set to follow.

With that, several events have been planned ahead of the TGE, giving players a chance to engage with the game's economy. 

Welcome Packs Sale and Legendary Jackpot

Starting May 6 at 3 PM UTC, 23 hours before the TGE, Boss Fighters will open sales for limited Welcome Packs on the Open Loot platform. Each pack contains FLEX resources, disposable Token Vouchers, and in-game resources like Cash, Variators, and Reinforcers.

The packs are priced at $60 during the first wave, and the total number of packs available is limited. Those who purchase 10 or more packs will automatically enter a raffle for a Legendary Token Voucher containing 100,000 $BFTOKEN. The initial sale phase will be open to whitelisted users, including Open Loot VIPs, holders of BOSS FIGHTERS Game Shares, and owners of NFTs from the Rowdies and Alpha collections.

$BFTOKEN Challenge: Up to 1,000,000 Tokens in Rewards

The team has also launched the $BFTOKEN Challenge, a content creation event running from April 28 to May 10. Players are encouraged to post Boss Fighters-related content on X using the tags #BOSSFIGHTERS, #BFTOKEN, and #FAIRLAUNCH while tagging the official @bossfightersX account.

The total prize pool can reach up to 1 million $BFTOKEN, with rewards unlocking progressively based on the total number of views across all submissions. Special prizes will be awarded for standout content in categories like funniest meme, best educational post, and team favorites.

All rewards from the challenge will be delivered as Token Vouchers, and winners will be contacted via DM by the official Boss Fighters X account.

What is Boss Fighters?

Boss Fighters is a free to play, cross-platform multiplayer game built by Pixward Games. It combines VR and PC gameplay in an asymmetrical 1v4 arena format. In each match, one player controls a giant Boss character in VR, while four others play as Fighters on PC. The Boss can use environmental destruction, debris, and oversized weapons to attack, while Fighters use teamwork, gadgets, and mobility to defeat the Boss.

The game features physics-driven mechanics, destructible environments, and a cartoon-like art style. It is available through Steam (demo), the Open Loot launcher, and Meta Quest for VR users. A mobile version is also in the works. 

About $BFTOKEN

$BFTOKEN (previously $BFT) is the native token of Boss Fighters, designed to support the game's economy. It can be used for:

  • Crafting and upgrading NFT gear
  • Boosting post-battle token yield
  • Recharging token-generating NFTs (such as Badges)
  • Unlocking exclusive game modes and perks
  • Accessing rare content

The total supply of $BFTOKEN is capped at 1 billion. Distribution is structured to reserve 70% of the supply for player rewards over a five-year period. There have been no private sales or allocations to venture capital investors.

At first, $BFTOKEN will be launched on Ethereum. Future plans include integrating Base, Solana, and cross-chain bridge solutions.

How to Earn $BFTOKEN?

You can now earn $BFTOKEN in two ways:

  • Using Token Vouchers: Equip a Token Voucher (included in Welcome Packs or earned through events), play matches, and collect $BFTOKEN without further requirements.
  • Using Badges + Showrunner Contracts: Purchase or rent a Badge and a Showrunner Contract via Open Loot, move your character into an In-Game State, and recharge your Badge using FLEX and Sponsor Marks to continue earning.
