Boss Fighters Announces Pumpkin Hunt Event – Win Exclusive Halloween Skins

The Boss Fighters team has announced the Pumpkin Hunt event for their asymmetrical PC/VR blockchain title, during which players could potentially win exclusive Halloween skins.

What Is the Pumpkin Hunt?

The Pumpkin Hunt is a special event featuring exclusive Halloween Boss and Weapon skins. It will take place over the course of 2 weekends, from October 20th to 22nd, and from October 27th to the 29th.

To mark the occasion, during the playtime event, players will set foot on a Halloween-themed map, with the goal of destroying the pumpkins scattered throughout the environment. By doing so, you’re in contention of winning the 2 new Halloween-edition skins, which are not available for purchase. The only way to get them is by destroying as many pumpkins as you can while the event lasts. 

Reward Details

By destroying 30 pumpkins as a Fighter, you’ll be able to take a place in the leaderboard for the Pumpkin Destroy, a special Weapon skin. If you’re a VR player, then you could go squashing 30 pumpkins as the Boss in order to get on the leaderboard for the Pumpkin Toss Master, a new Boss skin to spook PC players with.

According to the announcement, by doing the necessary task of obliterating pumpkins, you’ll get the new skins added straight away to your inventory as in-game assets, with the official post also teasing that these exclusive skins will be tradable soon.
