Blockchain-based grand strategy game BLOCKLORDS now officially has its own page on the Epic Games Store, with developer MetaKing Studios revealing that the player-driven title is set to soon launch there in open beta.
According to the Twitter/X post from the game’s official profile, the studio plans on releasing the game in open beta on the Fortnite creator’s platform in the coming weeks, with the official store page putting September as the month in which the game will go live on Windows PCs.
Ahead of this early access launch, anyone interested in trying the game out can wishlist the medieval-themed title which features a player-powered economy in which players will have a variety of different activities they can do, carving out their own path in this Web3 title. Based on the description on the store page, you’ll take on the role of a medieval Hero and choose your own playstyle, which can consist of farming, fighting, and more. As you rule and conquer, it’s up to you whether you’ll want to form alliances with others, or try and destroy anyone that stands in your path. If you’re a fan of grand strategy games, then you may want to keep an eye on this one, with the link to the store page available in the post down below, where you’ll also find details on minimum and recommended system requirements.
Back in May last year, MetaKing Studios managed to raise $15 million for the game in a seed round that included investors such as Animoca Brands, Delphi Digital, Spartan Group, and more.
