Developer Everreach Labs has partnered with Immutable to launch their blockchain FPS REVENGE over to one of the most well-known web3 gaming platforms this Q1 2025 in pre-alpha.
The Co-Founder and CEO of Everreach Labs, Nicolas Bougartchev, said the following in the announcement:
“Our partnership with Immutable strengthens REVENGE by enhancing player-spectator interaction, providing secure asset ownership, and delivering a seamless experience for our players.”
REVENGE is a web3 extraction shooter focused on delivering co-op PvE gameplay fused with spectator interaction. This means that both players and spectators will work together to fight the sentient MARA virus that seems to control zombie-like creatures in a sci-fi world, based on the gameplay footage embedded in the partnership announcement tweet that you can also view below. As you fight digital creatures, you will work together with your friends to try and collect various artifacts that you can only keep by successfully extracting out of the match alive.
Through this blockchain game, the developers want to “redefine spectator-player interaction” by using a custom-built Twitch API that actually lets viewers affect a live match “in every way imaginable.” This could make streamers experience unpredictable, dynamic FPS gameplay while making the streams even more enjoyable for their viewers to watch, as they can directly influence what happens during a match, adding a new layer of engagement.
According to an X post by the gaming studio, this upcoming shooter has been named as one of Immutable’s flagship games of 2025. Developer Everreach Labs is said to be led by experienced game developers who have worked on big commercial successes such as Fortnite, Far Cry 3, Rainbow Six Siege, and more. They’ve raised more than $4.5 million to date from the likes of BasedVC and Mario Nawfal’s IBC Group, with the goal of creating a unified gaming ecosystem that “empowers players, creators, and spectators alike.” To make this vision a reality, the team launched its social questing platform, the Everreach Terminal, in 2024. This January, the studio kicked off Everreach Terminal Season 2, through which users can quest to airdrop a share of the 13 million $EVER prize pool. The TGE for $EVER is coming soon, as it’s set to take place a few weeks after the pre-alpha test begins.
The pre-alpha version has been in development for some time, with the first official trailer published in September 2024. If you want to play this early release, then read on to find out how you can participate!
To participate in the pre-alpha version of REVENGE, you will need to register through the registration page on the game’s official website. Registrations opened in December 2024 and still seem to be up as of writing. You will have to input your email address and connect your EVM wallet, after which you can answer a couple of simple optional questions to successfully complete the registration process and potentially increase your chances of getting selected.
The reason why you need to connect your wallet is so that you have a chance of getting airdropped the pre-alpha season pass. This is a soulbound token that will be sent to your wallet before the game goes live. With the Season Pass SBT (soulbound token), you could get various perks and benefits, including in-game bonuses, access to special events, and more as the team introduces new features over time. Owning this SBT could make you eligible for one or multiple early access playtests. At the end of the pre-alpha, you could also get a “prestigious” in-game title achievement. There will also be other “end of season” rewards to earn as well just for taking part in pre-alpha.
In the meantime, you can wishlist this web3 game on Steam and the Epic Games Store ahead of its closed pre-alpha playtest, which potentially starts at some point in February.
