Big Time has added a new gameplay mode to the ecosystem, Player vs. Player (PvP), which will launch with the latest Patch 0.31. Starting on 2nd December 2024, the PvP mode will officially become a part of the ecosystem along with a dedicated PvP leaderboard. The PvP mode is a high-stakes combat where players must combine strategy, skill, and teamwork to win.
As the Big Time preseason phase ends, the team is rolling out its PvP mode. Players can enter the PvP mode by spending their $BIGTIME tokens to access specific arenas to battle other layers. Every PvP match will last for 30 to 45 minutes, and the players have to complete a wide variety of objectives while defeating their enemies in order to win the battle.
The new mode is set in the core of Epoch City, and the players enter through a high-rise hourglass. It’s important for players to register and pay the associated fee before entering the battle arena. Since there are different portals, the fee, payable in $BIGTIME, may also change according to the chosen portal.
Players in the new mode must select a class and create a team after communicating with their teammates. Team creation will depend on each player’s class, and after entering the arena, each player will receive a Watch and start playing at Level 10.
After entering, every player must cross and complete a series of objectives while fighting with enemies advancing to the central part of the arena. Victory is achieved once a player captures the central point of the arena and those who reach there will be eligible to win it all.
Every player’s activities and achievements in the game will be tracked and added to the leaderboard. Participating in weekly events, completing challenges, winning battles, and everything else adds to a player’s points tally. Naturally, players with higher points will find their names on the top of the board and receive additional rewards.
According to the official announcement, the PvP leaderboard is a limited-time event, which opens up a small window to additional rewards and prizes connected to the new PvP gameplay mode.
