Big Time is launching Big Time Rewards on Monday, September 14, 2026, putting 10,000 USD in rewards into circulation every month. The studio announced the programme on September 10.
Players complete daily objectives to qualify for rewards and build toward bigger prize pools. Payouts run in Time Crystals and BIGTIME tokens, and a new Rewards Leaderboard is already live on the official site.
Four Tiers From Daily to Quarterly
The structure spans four time horizons: daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly. The Rewards Leaderboard currently displays weekly, monthly, and quarterly divisions, with daily objectives feeding into all of them.
Building the programme around daily objectives rather than raw playtime changes what it rewards. A player who logs in and clears a set of tasks qualifies, which is achievable for someone with an hour rather than an evening. Those completions then accumulate across the longer windows, so consistency over a quarter counts for more than a single heavy session.
The four tier design also spreads payouts across different player types. Daily and weekly brackets keep casual players in the running, while monthly and quarterly pools concentrate value for anyone sustaining the effort across a longer period.
The leaderboard is governed by rules published in the studio's announcement and its Terms and Conditions.
Two Currencies, Two Purposes
Rewards pay out in both Time Crystals and BIGTIME, which are not interchangeable.
Time Crystals sit inside the game economy, used for crafting, upgrading, and the progression systems Big Time runs on. Paying them out keeps value circulating internally rather than flowing straight out of the game.
BIGTIME is the tradeable token, so rewards in that currency carry value beyond the client. Splitting payouts between the two gives players something usable immediately and something they can hold or trade, and it lets the studio tune how much of each month's 10,000 USD leaves the ecosystem versus staying inside it.
A fixed monthly figure is worth noting on its own. Many reward programmes in this sector scale with activity or spending, which means the pool grows when the game is busy and shrinks when it is quiet. A flat 10,000 USD per month is predictable in both directions, and for players deciding whether the grind is worth it, a known number is easier to evaluate than a variable one.
Inside Big Time
Big Time is a multiplayer action RPG developed by Big Time Studios, running on Ethereum with NFT support. It is available on Windows and Android and supports both single player and multiplayer play.
The premise sends players adventuring across time and space, moving between historical periods and futuristic worlds while fighting through each era. Combat is fast paced action rather than turn based, and the presentation has drawn consistent praise for production values above what the category usually delivers.
Collecting is the layer that sits underneath. Players gather rare NFT items for their avatars and for personal time machines, which double as social spaces where players can hang out rather than existing purely as inventory. That combination of a serious action game with an ownership layer is what has kept Big Time near the front of the category through multiple market cycles.
The game requires crypto to access its full economy, with in app purchases available alongside the play to earn systems. SPACE NFTs govern access to certain content, and Time Crystals function as the core in game resource.
Its award record reflects that standing. Big Time placed fifth in 2025 Game of the Year, second in 2024 Game of the Year, and seventh in 2024 Best Action Game. It currently sits at rank number 39 on PlayToEarn with a score of 909, up 6.57 percent.
The Rewards Leaderboard is live now, and the first daily objectives go up on Monday.
