Azuki Alley Escape is now live in early access on Telegram, giving players a way to collect rewards before the main gameplay launches. Built by GAMEE in partnership with Azuki, this is the first time the Azuki universe enters Telegram. The full game goes live in just under a week, but you can already start your journey now. Early access is available as of writing, with the official gameplay set to begin on November 20.

Azuki Alley Escape Early Access

What Is Azuki Alley Escape?

Azuki Alley Escape is a Telegram-based mini-game created by GAMEE, the mobile gaming platform known for web3 arcade titles like Arc8. This game brings the Azuki world onto Telegram for the first time. It's not just about running and collecting; leaderboard competition will be a major part of the season once gameplay starts.

In this early access build, there's no skating or in-game running yet. Instead, you get a list of tasks. Each one you finish gives you Coins, Boxes, XP, or other rewards. These will carry over into the full game and give you a better shot at topping the leaderboard when it goes live in a few days.

Why Join Now?

If you join during early access, you'll be able to complete tasks that won't give the same amount of rewards once the gameplay opens. That means more Coins, more Boxes, and more XP to use later on.

Doing these tasks gives you:

  • A head start on the leaderboard
  • More XP for your Journey
  • More in-game currency to buy items
  • Lootboxes filled with character gear
  • Extra rewards for inviting friends

You can also earn Mini Boxes and Common Boxes, each containing gear that boosts your character once the game is live. These items directly affect your leaderboard rank, so the sooner you start, the more progress you can make before anyone else even enters the game.

What You Can Do Right Now

Everything starts in Telegram. You don't need to create a new account or register anywhere. Just open Telegram, search for the Azuki Alley Escape bot, and tap "Start." From there, the game will display all tasks available.

These include:

  • Visiting the Azuki website
  • Following Azuki and GAMEE on X
  • Joining the official Telegram community
  • Inviting friends to the game

Each task gives a specific reward. For example, following Azuki Alley Escape on X gives you 1,000 Coins. Inviting 3 friends gets you 1,300 Coins. Visit the website and you get a Common Box. Join the Telegram group and you'll unlock a Mini Box.

Coins can be spent on items for your character. Boxes contain gear of varying rarities. The more you complete now, the stronger your inventory will be on launch day.

Rewards You Can Earn

Early access rewards come in several types, and each plays a role once the game launches:

  • Coins: These are used to buy items for your character. You earn them by completing tasks like following accounts or inviting others.
  • Mini Box: Gives you one random item.
  • Common Box: Contains 3 items, including 1 guaranteed Common and 2 of any rarity.
  • Character Items: Found in Boxes or bought with Coins. You can equip these to raise your rank on the leaderboard.
  • XP and Journey Progress: Help level up your account before the first match even begins.

There are also rare Tickets and potential Red Beans, which may show up later during the event. These can be used for exclusive prize draws.

Countdown to Gameplay

You've got 6 days to gather as many rewards as you can before gameplay begins. On November 20, the full runner-style gameplay unlocks, letting you skate through the Alley, collect in-game rewards, and try to reach the top of the leaderboard.

If you wait until then, the same tasks will still be available, but the rewards will be smaller. That means fewer Coins, fewer Boxes, and a slower start.

According to GAMEE, season rankings will matter. They decide the biggest prizes at the end. Starting now gives you an edge over those who join later.

The Azuki World Behind the Game

Azuki Alley Escape is the newest branch of the Azuki ecosystem, built in partnership with GAMEE. Azuki itself started as an NFT collection of 10,000 anime-inspired characters created by Chiru Labs. Since then, it's grown into a full digital world with anime content, physical and digital collectibles, and a trading card game.

This year, Azuki has pushed further into gaming. Azuki TCG, their official trading card game, is set to launch by the end of 2025. The team has also developed AnimeChain, a blockchain built specifically for anime-themed games and communities, using the ANIME token for gas fees and governance.

The TCG features 1v1 matches where you try to bring your opponent's Leader to zero health. You build 50-card decks with 6 card types, using elemental strategies like Fire, Earth, Water, and Lightning. Alpha Starter Decks, available for pre-order earlier this year, are redeemable until November 24. These physical decks come with exclusive "Alpha"-stamped cards that won't be reprinted again.

Azuki also introduced Physical Backed Tokens (PBTs), a chip-based way to link real-world items to NFTs on the Ethereum chain. That mix of real and digital ownership is part of Azuki's larger goal: building a decentralized anime universe that mixes collectibles, web3 tools, and entertainment.

About GAMEE

Upcoming Launch Details

The early access period is focused on pre-game tasks, but the main game unlocks next week. Once it does, you'll be able to skate through the Alley, collect rewards during your runs, and climb the leaderboard to compete for season prizes.

All the Coins, Boxes, XP, and character items you earn now will carry over into the gameplay phase. These early rewards give you a head start that could make a big difference when the leaderboard opens.

According to GAMEE, leaderboard rankings will decide the top rewards at the end of the season. While full prize details have yet to be announced, GAMEE has stated that the prize pool will be worth tens of thousands of dollars. Joining during early access increases your XP and inventory, giving you an upper hand when the competition begins.
