Axes Metaverse officially released

Axes Metaverse, a play-to-earn metaverse on the BNB Chain, has been officially released on mainnet.

The launch happened on November 15 and includes the first game mode titled Axes: Battleground, which includes real-time PvP from an isometric perspective. Playing this battle royale requires having an NFT hero, which can be bought using BUSD over at the platform’s own marketplace, which also includes NFT hero chests. Another way to get an NFT hero is to use the Summon portal, where you’ll get a hero of random class, race and rarity. For this game mode, heroes consume energy that refills over time, but another stat that also has an affect is tiredness, which can only go away by using potions, also purchasable as NFTs.

Season 1 started a day after release and includes a $2000 BUSD prize pool that will be distributed to the top 200 players on the leaderboard, with 1st place getting $180 BUSD, 2nd place $135 BUSD and 3rd place $100 BUSD. Players have until November 30 at 9 AM UTC to try their best at reaching the highest ranks on the leaderboard. More details can be found here.

The game is available as a downloadable PC title from the Axes website but can also be played on Android and iOS devices by scanning a QR code of the former or latter on the official website.
