Blockchain gaming studio Attack Wagon has published an update post for this month, revealing a new gameplay trailer for Scrap Guilds while sharing an updated roadmap for the rest of the year and most of 2024.
The team has published a new trailer for Scrap Guilds, an upcoming arena-style space shooter. After releasing an in-engine trailer almost a year ago, we now get a gameplay trailer showing some of the action we can expect to experience, which will involve two teams fighting off each other using various different space ships in third-person view in an effort to gather as much scrap as possible before the opposing side in order to win the match. Obliterating the enemy team will probably work too though. According to the whitepaper, each ship consists of various different upgradable NFT parts. There will be 10 classes of ship parts to allow for numerous different playstyles.
The updated roadmap gives us info on what the studio will be working on for the last quarter of this year, while revealing what they have planned for the first 3 quarters of 2024. For Q4 2023, we can expect to see the launch of the Attack Wagon Arcade, which is a collection of browser-based arcade games that will have an unspecified but small fee to play, but will feature biweekly and monthly prizes for players to compete for. More games will be released over time, with Land Owners benefiting the more times these games are played. In the same quarter, it seems there will be a whitelist and presale for ARXM, one of the tokens of Scrap Guilds. The game itself seems scheduled to launch in alpha in Q1 next year, with an official launch planned for Q2 2024.
