GAMEE has announced the release of a huge major update for their play-to-earn platform Arc8, with the update representing one of their 2 planned upgrades for this year, with this one introducing significant new features such as Leagues and Streaks, alongside revamped UI and more.
To mark the launch of this new version of the platform, GAMEE has published a post detailing 5 of the biggest changes introduced with this new update.
Among these is the introduction of Leagues. Players now get to compete in Leagues in which they can rise up and down depending on how well they do, with league ranking depending on the amount of Trophies you manage to win. Each day from 1 PM UTC you are placed in a group of 100 players in the same League tier as you. If you end up in the top 10% at the end of the day, you not only get rewards, but you also get promoted to the a higher League tier where you’ll have a chance of snatching larger rewards. Those who would still like to play GMEE tournaments next to Leagues can still do so.
Another huge change is the inclusion of Streaks, which are designed to serve as the “best way to rack up Trophies.” This means that now, if you go on a match-winning streak, you’ll be able to get more Trophies the longer your Streak is. There is a default limit of 3 Streak attempts a day, but owners of the Premium Pass get 4 attempts.
For more details on everything else included with this update, such as Reward Packs, you can find everything you need to know in this official Medium post.
Together with this update, GAMEE announced the introduction of the Arc8 League, with Season 0 set to start on July 11 with $18k in varying rewards.
