Apeiron Teams Up With Wild Forest for Evergreen Rift Expedition

Web3 roguelite RTS card game Apeiron has teamed up with blockchain RTS Wild Forest (WF) for the Evergreen Rift Expedition, giving both communities a chance to earn various NFT rewards from both Ronin-powered gaming projects while utilizing the new Apostle Fusion feature.

What Is Apeiron x Wild Forest’s Evergreen Rift Expedition?

Evergreen Rift Expedition is a competitive limited time staking event during which players holding NFTs from both Apeiron and Wild Forest can stake their assets for a chance at earning treasures while exploring the new realms of Apeiron. As is the case with previous Expeditions, this one too sees players compete against each other for the same rewards. The more you stake, the better your chances of claiming prizes from this event. What is of course different now is that instead of just staking Apeiron Planets, players now also need to stake Wild Forest Skins.

By staking the required NFTs, players generate an important resource called Luminous Vapor. This resource is needed to gain power throughout the Expedition, and you can also choose to stake $APRS and $WF tokens to gain more Vapor at ratios of 3:1 and 6:1 respectively. Any Vapor you may have left from earlier expeditions will actually count towards this one as well if you choose to join.

Participants with the highest collected amount of Vapor could end up winning rewards from a prize pool containing a total of 850 Summoner Apostles and 475 Wild Forest Spirit Packs across 645 chests. Specifically, this means the reward pool includes 700 Summoner Tickets and 150 Golden Summoner Tickets from Apeiron, as well as 200 Tiny Packs, 150 Basic Packs, 100 Basic+ Packs, 15 Standard Packs, and 10 Premium Packs from Wild Forest. A Summoner Ticket is used to claim a Summoner Apostle with IV from 30 to 80, while a Golden Summoner Ticket is used to claim a Summoner Apostle with IV higher than 85. Wild Forest Packs give you a random chance of earning Skins, Units, Gold, Shards, and $WF tokens. Each Pack comes with its own unique theme and rewards, so the rarer the Pack, the more valuable the rewards could potentially be.

The treasure chests allocated for distribution through this event however are divided into 4 different types: Regular (x300), Celestial (x275), Empyrean (x40), and Omega (x30). Every chest comes with a random chance of getting either an Apeiron-related reward, or a Pack for use in Wild Forest. Here are the potential contents of each:

  • 2 Basic Packs, or
  • 1 Basic+ Pack

How to Join the Apeiron x Wild Forest Evergreen Rift Expedition

To join the Evergreen Rift Expedition, you need to stake at least 1 Apeiron Planet and 1 Wild Forest Skin during the duration of the event. This expedition started on April 9th at 8 AM UTC and will end on April 23rd at 8 AM UTC. You can head to the official expedition page (also linked in the official X announcement thread) and click on this latest expedition event to join and stake up to 6 Planets and up to 12 Skins. There is no limit to the number of $APRS and $WF tokens that can be staked. Apeiron Planet NFTs can be found on the game’s official marketplace for the floor price of 0.006 ETH at the time of writing, while WF Skins are available on the Ronin Market for a current minimum price of 0.17 RON.

What Is Apeiron’s New Apostle Fusion Feature?

Next to launching this expedition, the Apeiron team has also introduced a new feature: Apostle Fusion.

Apostle Fusion allows players to fuse any NFT Apostles in order to increase the IV of another NFT Apostle. The class doesn’t matter, so you can combine any low utility Apostles to evolve the Apostle of your choice. As a result of this new feature, the IV cap has been increased from 100 to 110, and the only way to break past the 100 IV mark is to actually use this new fusion process. The amount of EXP a sacrificed Apostle grants depends of course on the IV, so the more of them you sacrifice and the higher the IV of the Apostle being sacrificed, the bigger the impact will be on the Apostle you’re looking to improve.
